Chapter 3

Next Day

Mikasa POV

I got up early than usual,brushed my teeth,took a shower and got dressed quickly.

"Have a good day sweety!" My mom said and my dad was already gone for work.

When I went out,I saw Eren standing at our gate with the same bored expression.

"Ready?"he asked

"Yeah" I said

"The school isn't far from here,so we can walk" he said

"O-okay"I said

We started walking and after a few minutes I catched up to him.

We didn't have any conversation while walking which made it kinda awkward.So I decided to try an start a conversation.

"Hey Eren,How are you at school?"

He didn't say anything or didn't even react.

"We're here" He said after sometime pointing to a large iron gate behind which I could see the school building.

It's huge.I thought.

We entered the gate along with some other students.

First he showed me around.Then we got our schedules from the principal office.

Strangely his and mine schedule were exactly the same.

Afterwards,we were walking through the corridor to get to our first class which was science. The teacher was someone called Hange Zoe.

I was thinking about our class but then suddenly something happened.

There was this light-brown hared horse-faced boy coming towards us.

When he came near he started talking to Eren.

"Oy,Yeager back to school huh?"

Eren didn't reply.

He then shifted his gaze towards me and made a face that disgusted me.

He then turned towards eren and said.

"What are you doing walking with this hot stuff?I thought you were not interested in girls right?"

Eren didn't say anything.

That teen suddenly did something which shocked me.

He directely punched Eren in the face which made him fall back.As he fell on the floor I saw he his nose bleed.

Oh my god! I thought and ran up over to him and bending over him I asked him if he was okay. He was suddenly startled by this question,but then quickly went back to his old expression.He didn't say anything but he only nodded.

I took out an handkerchief and wiped the blood coming from his nose.I lend out my hand trying to help him to get up. But he suddenly got up on his own.

He turned to me and said

"Mikasa,Let's go otherwise we'll be late"

I nodded but then suddenly something happened again.

It was that teen from before he had kicked eren in the stomach which made eren fall again.

"Don't ignore me you bastard" he yelled

He went up to Eren and started repeatedly kicking him and that too on the face. I was shocked,very shocked.

But what was even more shocking was that eren wasn't reacting.
