Chapter 14

Eren PoV

Dammit!It hurts like hell...But I guess it will be fine by tomorrow.

We were on our way back to Levi's apartment.I just realised that we were near our destination.

After 5 minutes,we were finally standing in front the apartment.I had to put up the 'I am fine' act because I didn't want Mikasa to get suspicious or worried about me.

We went upstairs and Levi rang the doorbell.The door opened after a couple of moments revealing Mikasa.

"Oh!You are back,but you sure took your time?Huh?Eren you're also here!Where did you go?"She asked.

"I just went for a walk,but I guess I forgot about the time"I replied blandly.

"Huh?Okay.Come on all of you come inside"She said with a beautiful smile on her face.

Levi and Petra went inside.I was also going to go inside but I suddenly realised that my shirt was drenched with blood....If I went inside,Mikasa will see it.

"Well,Mikasa I was thinking,let's head back you know it's already late"I said.

"Huh?What's gotten into you?"She asked back.

"Well,It's nothing,it's just that it's already quite dark,and I guess we should go home,your parents might be worried about you"I said.

"Huh?Well you're right"She said.

Then suddenly Emma came running towards the door and said.

"Eren!Where were you?"She asked demandingly.

"Huh?Nothing,I went out just for a walk"I said.

"Huh?How long were you walking for,did you walk to the moon?"she asked .

I was confused at first,but then realised she was being sarcastic.I was surprised that she knew how to be sarcastic,at this age.

I guess she learnt it from her dad.

I thought to myself.

I glanced towards Mikasa who seemed as if she was trying to suppress her laughter.

I let out a little smile,and then turned back to Emma.

"Sorry Sorry Emma"I said trying to sound sorry.

"No!I won't forgive you,if you want forgiveness,you both have to come and play with me"She said.

I smiled at her again.

"Sorry,Emma,but I think we will have to leave"I said.

"Huh?Already?But why?You can't leave just now"She said

"Sorry Emma,but I'll definitely play with you next time"I said.

"But-"

"Come on,Emma it's already late,let them go home"

She was cut off by Levi.I guess he understood what I was trying to do.I simply nodded at him.

"Huh?Okay daddy"Emma said.

"Mikasa,I'll drop you two home"Levi said.

"Huh?Well you don't really need to"Mikasa said.

"Why?Are you sure?"he said turning his gaze from me to Mikasa.

It took me a while to understand that he was asking me.
I just simply nodded.

"Yeah Yeah,you're probably tired too,so it's alright"Mikasa said.

"Okay"Levi simply replied.

"Then Emma , Goodbye"I said to her.

"Good bye Emma!"Mikasa exclaimed and we began walking.

Timeskip After 20 min

Mikasa PoV

Me and Eren were still walking to our place.I was walking beside him.We couldn't take a taxi because none of us had enough money.I guess I had made a wrong choice,by declining Levi's offer.

But I think It's alright.Eren isn't complaining either.Though he seemed kinda tired when he got back.I had NEVER seen him tired.So it was kinda weird.Moreover,his shirt seems quite darker than before too.I couldn't make out,what it was exactly.But I think it is probably sweat.

Wait...Eren seemed tired and he was sweating.Does that mean he was running?Should I ask him about that?

"Hey Eren?"I said

"Hmm"He replied

I just realised,how awkward would it be,if I asked him if he was running before.That also out of nowhere.

"N-Nothing"I said

He looked towards me and seemed confused.After that he just turned his face forward and began walking.

Then suddenly,our hands touched...

Suddenly there,was a strange feeling in my chest.Something,that I hadn't felt ever before.But before I had realised,we were holding hands.

I inwardly started panicking.But I don't know why?My face turned bright red.

Why are we holding hands?

Why am I not pulling my hand away?

Why is Eren not pulling his hand away?

But Eren wasn't flustered like me.Instead he had a small smile plastered on his face.

I suddenly remembered all the previous times I had seen him smile,at Connie's house,then at Levi's house.Seeing him smile,made me smile too, But I really don't know why this was happening.But something inside told me that I was.....Happy.

Eren PoV

Suddenly our hands touched.I don't know why,but I grabbed her hand.She didn't seem to protest,so we kept holding hands.

I had missed her hand,for a long time now.

I was really... happy

Mikasa PoV

After walking for another,I don't know how many minutes we finally reached our destination.During our whole walk,I kept blushing like crazy.I am sure Eren was thinking that I'm and Idiot.

Anyways,after reaching out houses.Me and Eren separated and said goodnight to each other and went inside.

A/n
So that's it for this chapter.I wasn't really planning to write a chapter like this.But I don't know why,I just started and this is the result.
