Chapter 16

A raven haired girl,lying on the ground,her clothes dirty and tears forming in her eyes.

She had stumbled upon a rock,while she was walking up a hill to reach one her favourite places.She used to go there when her mind was in a mess,or she was scolded by her parents.But usually she went their just to relax.

But this time it was different,it was none of the previous. reasons,she was going there to show it to someone.For the first time she was taking someone else there.

That particular 'someone else' walking just a few steps behind her.He was not so excited about this.That doesn't mean,that he didn't want to go there.It's just that he didn't express any enthusiasm.On the contrary,the female had a big smile plastered on her face.She had never been so excited,for going over there.

That smile and her excitement was ruined by a ugly rock lying in her way.She had tripped over it and was now lying on the ground.Tears started to run down her cheeks.But she refrained herself from crying aloud,but her leg was badly hurt,and the pain was killing her.

Suddenly she heard footsteps running towards her,she jerked her head upwards to meet a worryful expression of the brunette,she was quite fond of.But it was the first time she could make out his expression properly.Usually,his expression wasn't quite understandable,and to her it seemed boring.So she had taken it upon herself to change him,and she had already started yielding some results.

He asked her if she was okay,she slightly nodded and response.He helped her to stand-up,but her ankle didn't allow her,to stand up without a support.

The brunette quickly realised this simply,and crouched in front of her,and motioned his head telling her to get on his back.The female hesitated for a bit,but because of the pain her ankle was giving,she instinctively got on his back and gripped his shoulders.

He stood up with the girl on his back,an started going down the hill.

"But Ere-"She said but was cut off

"Mikasa You're hurt,We should go back for now,We will come here another time"The brunette said

She silently nodded.

She was sad,not because she was injured,but because she couldn't show him her favourite place.

But she was happy too,she was happy to see that this person was worried about her

A light shade of pink,appeared on her face while thinking about him.

Present

"Kasa..Mikasa....MIKASA!"Eren said trying to wake her up.She had fallen asleep on his back.

It wasn't that he minded,but they were already at the top.

Mikasa then started to stir.She opened her eyes,and was confused by what she was seeing,not remembering what had happened some time ago.

Then she suddenly remembered,how Eren had helped her,and she was on his back.

She then realised how much weight he was carrying.
He was carrying her with her backpack on along with his bag.

She quickly got down from his back and started apologising.

"Sorry Eren I fell asleep and-"She started but she was cut off by him

"It's okay.More importantly,are you still feeling tired?"He questioned her

"No"she said shaking her head.
