To say that Eren was troubled would be an understatement.

Mikasa was straight on ignoring him for three days straight.It had been four days since Mikasa's and Eren's race,her mood had become like that ever since that happened and it only grew worse,when Eren tried to help her by taking more buckets of water from her,so that she could carry less.

He kinda knew that she was angry at him,but why?

He tried to remember,if he had done sonething wrong,to upset her or anger her,but he didn't seem to get anything at all.

He was sad that she was behaving like this,whenever he tried to talk to her she just left the place running to her mother or her father.

For the present scenario,Eren Mikasa and her mom,and her father were cleaning the house.

James had assigned Eren the task to clean the kitchen along with him.

When the work was done,Jane and her husband pattes Eren's head and ruffled his hair.

"You did a great job Eren!"Jane said.

"Yeah"Her husband agreed with a smile.

Mikasa stared at them,and then her face turned into a frown as she walked out of the room.

Eren was perplexed at this action of hers.He decided to ask her parents about this and take some help.

"Umm"He started not knowing how to say it,what was even worse was that he didn't knew their names,or anything.

Jane smiled at him,understood his discomfort and gave a light chuckle before saying.

"Yes Eren?"She spoke much to the child's relief.

"Mika has been acting weird"He stated.

"What do you mean Eren?"James chimed in.

"Mika has been acting weird,she ignores me unlike before and doesn't talk to me,maybe she is angry with me,but I don't understand why?"He spoke.

"Hmm I wonder why?"James said confused.

"Did anything happen between you two?"Jane asked Eren.

Eren shook his head.

"I can't really remember anything that I might have done to make her angry"he said with a frown.

"Uh-oh"James said not exactly knowing what to say.But then Jane came to his rescue.

"When did she started acting like this?"She asked.

Eren thought for a bit,but then spoke.

"It all started after we came back from the hill"He said

(A/n Did you see what I did there?)

"Hmm.Did something happen at the hill?"Jane asked confused.

"We just had a race and then we sat at the hill for some time and then we came back"

"A race?Hmm that's interesting"James chimed in.

"So who won?"James excitedly asked.

"Mikasa,I let her win,I didn't want her to be upset"

"Huh?"Jane accidentally let out.

Eren raised an eyebrow towards her,as though asking her did something happen.
