Chapter 2

Mikasa Pov

Woah! we've finally settled in our new house. These were the thoughts that were in my mind when my mom called.

"Mikasa!"

"Yes mom?"I said

"Do you want to go with your dad to greet the neighbours?"

"Well,no problem,I'll go" I replied as I was free and had nothing else to do.

Timeskip:1 hour later

Me and my dad were standing in front of the door of the house in front of ours.Dad rang the doorbell. After a couple of seconds,the door was opened by the boy who was sitting on the roof earlier.

Now I got a clearer look of him

He was ofcourse of my age. He had green eyes,but they looked strangely empty.He had long chocolate brown hair which were hanging almost down to his shoulders and this kinda ruined his look. It seemed that he hadn't got a haircut since a long time.

"Hello" My Dad spoke

"We are your new Neighbours,it's a pleasure to meet you"

"Ugh?H-hi I am Eren,Eren Yeager"

"Oh,and my name is Mr.Ackermann (sorry guys please ignore ,couldn't think of a proper name 😌) and this my daughter Mikasa"

"Hello" Eren said to me with a bored expression.

Well that was kinda rude. I thought

"Hi" I said.

"So,where are your parents,can I see them?" My Dad asked.

His expression changed a bit and he looked somewhat sad.

"Ugh? W-we-well th-they are" he said stuttering.

"Huh? No problem and sorry" My Dad replied

Eren seemed a bit shocked

"It's ok,anyways would you like to come in?" he asked

"Sure" my dad said smiling.

"His house was surprisingly simple for a highschooler.

He led us in a room with two sofas and a TV. We both sat on the sofa. He went and then came back with two glasses water.

"So you live all alone here?" My Dad asked?

"Yeah"

"You're as highschooler right"

"Umm,yeah"

"So where do you study?"

"Well,I am gonna start my 3rd year at Shiganshina High"

"Oh?? Isn't it the same with you also Mikasa?"

"Huh? Yeah" I said

"That's good,So Eren can you help her on her first day?"

Eren took a look at me and then turned towards my dad.

"Sure,no problem"

Timeskip:Last day of vacation

Woah!I have to start school from tomorrow. I am nervous but its also kinda exciting.

These thoughts weren't letting me sleep. So I thought to go to the balcony that was attached to my room to get some fresh air.

There I saw someone standing on Eren's roof. From the silhouette I guessed it was eren so I called out for him.To be honest he was looking kinda different from his usual selfzthe soft blowing Breeze made his long hair blow backwards and the full moon made his green eyes kinda dazzle.

"Hey!"

He didn't look

"Hey Eren!"

He turned his look towards him and to my surprise he had a very sad expression which suddenly changed to his normal plain look,probably because of me.

"What are you doing up so late?"

He didn't reply for a while but then suddenly averting his gaze he said-

" I could ask you the same question" he said hesitantly.

"Well I couldn't sleep because of all the excitement and nervousness for tomorrow's school"

He didn't react.

"So you were looking at the sky huh?" I said.

"Mhm"

"But isn't the roof a bit too risky or something like that"

"I don't care"

"Huh? That was a strange response"
