Chapter 7

Mikasa PoV

I was running up the hill.

I glanced behind and saw a chocolate haired boy of my age running behind me.

I ran as fast as I could and reached the hill top.

He was just behind me and reached after a few seconds.

"Yay!!!!I won"I shouted.

The boy looked startled and asked what was that.

"Huh?you don't know?I was celebrating because I just won"

"So if you win you do something like -'yay' " he said plainly without any emotion.It made me giggle a bit.

"You're so cute-

I suddenly woke up from that dream. It was certainly a long one.

I sighed to myself.

Just who is that boy?he keeps coming in my dreams.Why do I have such a poor memory.Why can't I remember him?

I thought these things.

I wonder where he is now.

I got down from my bed,brushed my teeth,took a quick shower and put on a t-shirt and some blue coloured shorts.

I climbed down the stairs in a hurry but my feet halted at the door of our guest room.

I heard laughter and talking from that room.

Guests eh? I thought.

Then suddenly the door opened and I saw my niece-Emma,now ten years old smiling towards me.

"Mikasa!!" She said happily.

"Emma!"I said hugging her.

"Does that mean Petra and Levi are also here?"

"Mhm,mom and dad are also here"

Emma was the adopted daughter of my cousin Levi and his wife Petra.

Then I turned my gaze towards my 'short' cousin.It's because I think he missed his growth spurts.Though he was older than me by a lot of years but he was shorter in height than me.

Then suddenly I felt somebody hugging me.

"Petra!!"I squealed as the ginger-haired hugged me.She was my dear sister in law.She had orange hair and hazel-nut eyes. She was very kind,nice and sweet-hearted.That is why I also liked her. We both had a nice friendship.

After separating from the hug I was greeted by my shorty cousin Levi Ackermann.

"Hi,brat"

" Hello and you don't need to call me brat,I'm your cousin shorty?"
