These days I look forward to writing a new chapter for those that read...the readers and votes might be little in number but it still warms my heart.
One day I'm going to do a double update
One day😹❤️
Dive in!!!!!
Tamilore POV
It was Monday already. Temilade still wasn't talking to me. I think Mom and Dad noticed but anytime they wanted to bring it up Temi and I leave the room.Once again, Dad tried bringing up the issue.
"I'm done with breakfast, I'll be in the car" Temilade said and left not even giving Dad a chance to say a word.
"Whatever this is about, you and your sister better clear it up" Dad said and continued his breakfast
"Yes sir" I replied.
I glanced at Mom, she hasn't said a word. She seemed closed of these days.
"Mom are you okay?" I asked
"Yes baby, I am" she replied
I stood up and told them I was done with eating. I'm starting to get accustomed to the driver my parent hired.
The drive to school was sickening. The silence was deadly and choking. Immediately the car stopped, I jumped out of the car.
I met with Fiyin and Folarin in class. Folarin was on Adesua's sit while Fiyin was on hers.
"What's up you've been quiet since you arrived" Folarin said
I signed and explained everything that has been happening between Temilade and I
"I understand you. You were angry about what she said but you shouldn't have used her weakness against her" Fiyin said
"She might have said what she said out of anger. Love can make people stupid you know?" Folarin added
"You were both in your feelings and said rash things. If she won't apologize then you do it first. Take the upper hand" Fiyin said
"But before than, allow her to let go off some steam" Folarin said
"I think two days is a enough, because this issue had been since Friday so she should approach her already" Fiyin said
"Hmm. I get you but it all depends on you, Tamilore" Folarin turned to look at me
I signed and nodded. The bell rang which gave a signal for the beginning of assembly.
We left for the assembly hall together.
After the morning choruses and anthem. The principal ascended the podium
"Good day students" he greeted and we responded.
" I won't waste your time. We have chosen the prefects for this year, who will represent the school and keep it in order" The principal said
"If you hear your name please I would like you to find your way up here." He added
"The head girl goes to Smith Temilade" there was a roaring applause as Temilade went up to the podium. You could see her wide smile from afar.
She deserves it no cap
"The deputy goes to Farayola Adewale
The head boy goes to Ethan Johnson
The deputy is Samuel Ojo" The claps still continued"The sports boy is Leonard Bassey
The sports girl is Kamsichuku Emerald
The labour girl is Maria Bello
The labour boy goes to David Williams" The already loud applause became wilder and louder when David's name was announced
