Sometimes the sins you've engaged in makes you think you are worthless and would never be faithful to God.
Your past hunts you like it happened five minutes ago.
Your head is wrapped around that traumatic thoughts of your sins.
And you begin to forget about God.
Slowly and slowly He fades away.
Not because he forsook you,
But because you were hanging on to your past, it made you too occupied to be able to receive and hold the hand of God.
You've forgotten about His love
You've forgotten about His righteous and painful death
You've forgotten He accepts all kind
You've forgotten all about Him
In the name of trying to wash off your sins
But little did you know that only the blood of Jesus can wash of that sin and make you whole!.
∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆
I'm saying this from experience.
Your sins are burdens to you and Jesus is saying come and lay them down at my feet.
Listen to him
He loves you
John 3:16 says (though it's popular but powerful...it holds a deep message)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life"
