BELLA'S POV
Troubled
Disturbed
Unsettled
What ever name could be given to how I'm feeling right now.
How?
Why?
When?
Those were the words I kept asking myself since the day I saw Krisha.
My phone began ringing, I looked at the caller.
Mum
"Hiii Mum"
Silence
"Mum?"
Silence
"Mum are you there? Is everything alright?"
"Greet me properly" she replied
Ah
"But I just..I said..." I took a deep breath
"I want a proper greeting"
"Good afternoon Mum" I greet again.
"Hope you're kneeling while saying it."
Does she really think I'll ever do that?
"Yes" I replied.
Pause
"I have a feeling you're lying but I still choose to believe you" she said
"Sometimes your feelings can't be wrong" I muttered
"What did you say ?" She inquiried
"I said why did you call"
Silence
"I miss my kids." She muttered
I could detect the devastation in mum's voice.
"I know telling you to come home is out of it. So instead why don't you meet up with them either at the mall or something?" Uncertainty evident in my voice.
"I don't know...I feel both of them are still angry with me"
"This is the perfect time not to listen to your feelings Mum. Look, if you can't keep up with staying away from your family, I suggest you talk things out with Dad. Call his secretary and decide on what to do. After all, you never know how far a conversation can go" I encouraged
"You say it like it's easy"
"It's not easy but it's also not hard. You're going to do it sooner or later. And I prefer sooner because girllll Temilade is though to handle" I said.
She laughed "You two still haven't sorted things out".
"We haven't had the time to have real grown ups conversation"
"It's you that know"
"By the way, I saw Krisha"
"A new friend?"
"No mum. The same Krisha" I clarified
"Goodness. How, where, when, why?? I don't even know where to start" She panicked
"Same here. Those were the questions I asked myself."
"Where did you see her?"
"At the mall. Talking to Tamilore "
