Part 1
Tamilore's POV
I loved this...it was so dark and
quiet.Sound of solemn music buzzing quietly from my speaker.
It's something I can't do without when I sleep.
"Wake up Tamilore" Temilade said as she entered my room and pulled the curtains
"Don't you know how to knock"I asked sleepily
My elder sister can be a pain in the butt
"Good morning to you too" she replied, sarcasm laced in her voice
"What's the time?"I asked and stood up to stretch.
"It's time for you to get ready for school or else we will be late" she replied
I gave out a heavy sigh and laid on my bed.
Don't get me wrong I don't hate school, in fact I attend Crownsvielle college and I loved it but I hate school for some certain reasons or should I say certain people.
" Tamilore would you get up and get ready for school" my sister shouted.
She was going to be in SS3 this new session and she's trying all she can to make sure she's the head girl and that includes being punctual
"You don't have to yell" I groaned
My mum walked in and it was then I knew things were about to get worse. I groaned and stood up
"Good morning mum""How are you? What is going on here" my mum replied
"It's Tamilore, she's trying to make us late for school" Temilade replied shooting daggers at me with her eyes
"Tamilore O tun ti beree o (you have started again)"My mum said and Temilade and I burst into laughter.
My mum was an half-caste so her accent makes her sound funny when she speaks Yoruba.
"What is funny?" She asked, knowing fully well why we were laughing.
"Nothing" Temi and I said simultaneously
"Thought as much" she said
"Oya Temi go to your room and get ready for school, Tamilore get into the bathroom immediately" She ordered.
Temilade ran to her room while I rushed to the bathroom immediately, I don't want to get on Mom's bad side this morning.
I heard the door shut so I assumed she must have left.
I got dressed for school and grabbed my bag and phone before going downstairs. My mum was setting up the table while dad was watching TV in the living room.
It was possible to see the dining from the living room.
"Good morning Dad" I greeted and kissed him on his cheeks
"Good morning my princess, how was your night" he said
"It was good" I replied
Temilade came downstairs dressed up for school.
"Gather round, Temilade is here. Let's say our morning prayers" Dad announced.
After the morning prayers, Temilade and I rushed our food and got into mum's car. Mum immediately got in and we set off.
