Ethan's POV
I got tired of crying, or rather there was no tears left to cry.
I felt like my eyes was swollen and bloodshot.
I didn't know what to do next.
I was confused.
The pairs of hands were still wrapped around me.
I took a deep breath and slowly untangled myself from her grip and proceeded to turn so that I could see the face of the person who decided to stand by me.
A beautiful familiar girl came to view
"Uhm uhm"
Why was I making such sounds
"Thanks" I finally said after a long time
"You're welcome" she replied with a little smile and then turned to leave
"Wait!" And she stopped
"Have I seen you before?!" I called out
"You know, you are too young to forget someone you met just like over 2 weeks ago" she replied smiling
"Ohh, my bad...can you help me recall?"
"Nope I'll leave that to you Ethan" she said, my name rolling smoothly off her tongue
She turned to leave when I told her to wait again
"I didn't get your name"
"Adesua.... Berland Adesua"
I replied with a 'oh' and she left.
I walked to class after standing on a spot trying to remember the girl... sorry I meant Adesua
Such a beautiful name.
I walked into the class and sat beside David, still trying to remember where I has seen her when Mr Kelechi, our mathematics teacher walked in
"Dude where have you been?" David whispered to me
"Drama room"
"Why"
"It's a long story I'll explain after class"
I kept on thinking about where I met Adesua even if I tried to concentrate on class. Don't get me wrong I don't like her that way yunno but there's something about her that is so intriguing
Flashback to the first week of resumption
Third person POVEthan was going to Mitchell's class after excusing himself from the group on their way to the cafeteria.
He knocked on the door of their class and requested to see Mitchell.
"What do you want Ethan" Mitchell said
"Can I speak to you in private?"
"No... anything you want to say can be said here"
He looked around and saw half of the class had left.
It was just her and her cliques and some other students, who thankfully were not looking at him.
"All we had did it ever not mean anything to you?"
"I mean the kisses shared, the outings, the bonding. Was it all nothing to you?" He asked
"Yes" she replied without an heartbeat
"What?" He said but it came out as a whisper
"You heard me. Look Ethan, with the little concern I have for you I'm asking you to leave and save yourself any embarrassment"
