It's been a week already. Temilade has been getting better and will be discharged this week.
Temilade was the talk of the school for three days after the incident.
I confronted David about the hospital and he acted like it is was nothing

After the doctor left I pulled David with me to a corner
"Care to explain?" I asked
"No" David replied
"David"I gritted my teeth
"What?!"
"I'm not joking here. Why did you do all that for Temilade" I asked
"Because she is my friend and classmate" he asked giving me a isn't-it-obvious look
I signed heavily.
"Fine...why did you keep it a secret... You knew my parents wanted to thank you and you just acted like you knew nothing about it" I asked
"Firstly I didn't keep it a secret, no one asked me anything and secondly I wasn't on seat" he replied
"But you were in the hospital" I retorted
"Okay do you have expected me to say 'Oh Mr and Mrs Williams I'm the owner of this hospital and I was the one who gave Temilade a special treatment' how do you think that would have sounded huh" he retorted back sarcastically
"I understand now...no need to get all sassy on me" I said
"Ewwwww no... no...no...no I'm not sassy" he replied
I chuckled a little bit and remembered that I hadn't thanked him
" Thank you" I said
"Sorry?"
"I said thank you"
"I heard you but why"
"Why? Well because of everything you've done... Saving my Mom, Temilade's bills... everything" I said
"Don't ever thank me when I do something for the ones you love..." He said and pecked the corner of me lips
I stared at him wide eyed
"What was that for?" I asked
"Try figuring it out" he said and winked at me
"Lets go check up on Temilade" he said before walking away
End of Flashback
I touched the corner of my lips where he pecked and smiled. I could still feeling his lips there
"Are you done day dreaming" I heard
"Sorry I spaced out" I replied
"Yes... I figured" Fiyin said chuckling
"Anyways let go" she said
"Where?"
"Didn't you hear anything at all" Fiyin asked
"Nope"I said popping the 'p'
She groaned and said
"Fine we were told by Miss Raymond to go to the school hall, we have a seminar"
