"Sorry Joe, I'm hanging out with Ranmaru today." Y/n apologized as she closed her locker. She was going to hang out with Ranmaru....Again. She's been hanging out with Ranmaru a lot for these past few weeks. Joe didn't mind Y/n hanging out with other people, she's allowed to have friends after all. But she's been giving Ranmaru so much attention lately and Joe was starting to get jealous. The brunette looked over as the h/c girl walked away to go talk to Ranmaru at his locker. He sighed and tried to shake off the jealous feeling. But that backfired the minute Ranmaru held Y/n's hand when they were about to leave.
Joe quickly walked over to Y/n and wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her shoulder. "Y/nnnnnnn I lost my phoneeeee, can you help me look for itttt?" He asked, watching Ranmaru let go of Y/ns hand. "Oh- Sure Joe. Sorry Ranmaru, maybe we can hang out tomorrow?" She asked the white haired boy. "Uh yeah sure. See you tomorrow Y/n." Ranmaru waved goodbye and started to walk back home. Joe didn't actually lose his phone, he just wanted to have some of Y/n's undivided attention. "So where did you see it last?" Y/n asked. "Oh- I think maybe in Science class?" Joe replied, letting go of Y/n and just holding her hand. "Alright, let's go check there."
After 45 minutes of checking different classrooms and finding nothing (obviously) they went back to the lockers. That's when Y/n noticed Joes phone was in his pocket the whole time. "Joe- Your phone is in your pocket-" She pointed at his phone. "Oh- Whoops! Guess it was. Heh, sorry for dragging you around the school then Y/n" Joe scratched the back of his neck with a nervous laugh. "Cmon Joe, how did you not realize it was there sooner?" Y/n laughed a bit at her boyfriend. "Maybeeeee I did- Maybeeeee i just wanted to hang out with you-" Joe mumbled what he said. "Joe- If you wanted to hang out with me you could've asked-" Y/n said to Joe. "Well I knew you were gonna say you were hanging out with Ranmaru! He's gonna take you away from me-" Joe said the last part quickly and quietly.
"Oh? Are you jealous?" Y/n looked at the brunette boy in front of her. "Well- Maybe a little bit-" He looked away from the h/c girl, a little embarrassed. "Awh Joe, you said you were worried Ranmaru was gonna take me away from you, right?" Y/n asked, as Joe gave a slight nod. "Well you should know that would never happen, I promise. You know I love you more than anything else." She smiled. "Plus, Ranmaru likes Sara." She giggled a bit. "Wait really?" Joe asked, tilting his head slightly. "Yeah! He told me a little while ago." Y/n replied, smiling at Joe. "Phew, thats a relief. But can you hang out with me moreeeee, I miss youuuu" Joe whined, wrapping his arms around Y/n again. "Sure, you big baby." Y/n teased. "Now, let's walk home." She said as Joe let go of her. The couple held hands and walked back to their houses.
