I feel my body going cold as unaware tears spilled down my cheeks. Mileys unapologetic voice said the words that sent a feeling of dread and nausea through me. "Tazuna Jou is the sacrifice!"

My vision blurred as I had to realize the situation we were in wasn't a nightmare, this was the harsh reality. A reality that would soon end for Jou. I watch as the brunette looks over at me with a sympathetic and... sad smile on his face. It seemed as if he was trying to remain cheerful, or calm during his final goodbyes. "Y/n... Sara.... I'm sorry for tricking you guys." When we made eye contact, I slowly became aware of the tears streaming down my face. I was so cold... I couldn't form a proper sentence. I look over at the purple eyed girl standing next to me.. Sara. She seemed just as distraught as I was. We made eye contact for a brief moment before putting our attention back on the boy whos been such a big part of our lives. "Joe.." I started to speak but I couldn't seem to finish what I wanted to say without the lump in my throat making me want to start sobbing. Tazuna then began to continue on with his goodbyes.
"You two didn't vote for me, and that's what made it clear." He then took the dog keychain he could never seem to separate from out of his breast pocket, and he placed it into my shaky hands. He then continued speaking. "You two are so important to me. So please.... work together and do your best." He kept the apologetic smile on his face... How was he staying so calm knowing he's about to meet his undeserving, cruel fate? I look down at my shaking hands, still holding the keychain he gave me. "Y/N...I love you. You're my first partner, and my last. I'm glad that out of anyone, it was you." He gave me a kiss on the cheek, the last one I would ever get from him. I couldn't hold myself together much longer. "I..love you too Joe." I choked out between sobs. I watch as his smile grows slightly, seeming relieved he could hear me say it one last time. His eyes then turns towards Sara, who was crying.. hard. "And Sara... thank you for being my best friend." His smile faltered slightly as Sara began to cry harder.
"Yes, yes. It's over already. Heehehe!" The laughing doll cackled before deciding the time for goodbyes were over. "Kai Satou, chosen by vote, will be the main event. Now hurry up and die. Now wrigglers!" She once again let out an obnoxious laugh as the reality of the situation came crashing down on me. I knew he was going to die, but now as my limbs went numb, I didn't feel like I was watching this from my own body. Like I was watching this from a TV screen. "Wait! Wait..! Miley...!" Sara began to beg through her tears, but her voice sounded muffled to me. All I could do was watch the metal tubes slowly inch closer to the boy I love. "Suck all the blood from Jou Tazuna!" The doll let out another spine chilling cackle as I watched the tubes pierce Joes body, he let out a yell that would haunt me in my nightmares for the rest of my life. I was too shocked to speak, but I heard Sara as she began to beg once again, her voice was still muffled as I mentally couldn't seem to process much other than Jou's horrified expression.
"Miley! Please! Stop this!" Sara screamed. "I'll do anything! I'll even die in his place..! So...So.. Save Joe! Please help him!" She screamed at the floor master, who had not even the slightest bit of guilt on her face. She seemed to look...amused. "How cuuute Sara! Ahaha! Why not? I'll give you a chance." As I heard Miley say that I came back to my senses slightly... At least it felt like I was in my own body again. There was a chance... she could save him? "Ehehehe! This button will slow the device that was connected to Jou Tazuna. Just keep pressing it! The device will slow the more you press, and maybe even stop!" She smiled holding the red button out to the ginger girl still standing next to me. Sara snatched the button from her and I watched as she began to click. A noise that would forever be playing in my head, no matter how long its been since the event. "Sara.. please save him." I told her as I heard the taunting noise over and over again.
