Narrator POV///
Y/N has been feeling sick all day. Shes been coughing and sneezing, and she just didnt look right. But Y/n told her parents she was fine and she went to school. Joe immediately noticed that Y/n looked sick and unwell but everytime he questioned her about it, she just said "Joe, I'm alright. I just have a little cold thats all" and what she would say every time Joe asked her if she was feeling okay. They went through all their classes with Y/n's occasional cough or sneeze. She really didn't look well but she wouldnt let Joe help her.
It was around lunch time now and Y/n just got worse. She looked as if she was about to pass out. And Joe being the good boyfriend he is wouldnt let you keep going to class in this state. He felt Y/n's head and it was burning hot. "Y/n we need to go to the nurse, you have a fever." Joe said, looking at the sick girl. "I'm fine babe, Its nothing serious." Y/n replied as she sat down at the lunch table. "Please Y/n? Ill leave you alone if you go to the nurse. I just wanna make sure youre okay." He said the the (h/c) girl. "Fine. But I'm telling you I'm alrigh-" she coughed before finishing her sentence, proving Joes point that she needed to see the nurse. He grabbed her hand and walked with her to the nurses office. When they got there Y/n sat down in a chair as the nurse approached her. "Whats the issue?" The nurse asked. "Shes been coughing and sneezing all day, she looks pale and her head is really warm." Joe said as he sat down in a chair next to Y/n. "Alright. I'm gonna (give you an ice pack) check your temperature Y/n." The nurse then got out her thermometer and checked Y/n's temperature. She had a 101.2 fever. "Ill call your parents to pick you up and send you home. You need rest, dear." The nurse said as she picked up the phone and started dialing Y/n's moms phone number. A few minutes later Y/n's mom picked her up and drove her home. Joe had to go back to class but he was going to visit Y/n after school.
After school ended Joe went to Y/n's house and her parents let him in. He went upstairs to Y/n's room and saw her sitting in bed watching TV. "How're you feeling?" Joe asked walking up to her. "Sick, unfortunately." Y/n replied. "Do you need anything?" Joe asked. "No it's alright." Y/n yawned and looked tired. "Mkay, if you need anything tell me." The brunette smiled at the (h/c) girl. Joe sat down on a bean bag in Y/n's room, close to her bed. He just kept her company and they talked for a while. After about 2 hours Y/n fell asleep. Joe got up from the beanbag and kissed her cheek. He then left and went back home.
A/N: IM SO SORRY THIS CHAPTER IS RUSHED OML- i just really wanted to get it out and i got massive writers block in the middle of it- I promise i'll do a better chapter soon i love y'all!!
