"Joe are we seriously doing this- What if we get in trouble-" You said as Joe held your hand and helped you sneak out of the front gates of the school. "It'll be fine Y/n, I do it all the time! Plus if we get caught, ill take all the blame for it." Joe gave you a reassuring smile you the two walked away from the school. You sighed and moved some of your h/c hair out of your face. "Alright, I'm trusting you on this. Anyways, where should we go first?" You looked at him as you walked.
"Wanna go to the thrift store? We could get some random stuff there." Joe asked as he looked back at you. Ah, of course. Joe's favorite place was a nearby thrift store where he bought most of his hairclips, keychains, and bracelets. It was a place you two went to often. So you nodded in agreement and held your boyfriends hand as the two of you walked there.
Once you both got there you walked inside and looked around. Joe spotted matching bracelets that were your favorite colors and brought them over to you. "Y/n look! Wanna get these?" He asked with a smile. "Sure! Let me pick out something and then we can go pay." You continued to look around the thrift shop for anything you might like but then you just decided to get something for Joe. You saw a keychain he'd like and then walked over to the cash register with the keychain in hand and Joe had the bracelets. You two payed for your things and left the thrift store. "Oooo you got a keychain?" Joe asked as he admired the small keychain you had in your hand. "Actually, I got it for you." You smiled and handed it to him before he gave you a hug. "Aw thanks Y/n! I love ya!" He kissed you on the cheek and you smiled and hugged him back. "Its no problem Joe, I love you too!" Joe then took one of the matching bracelets he bought and put it on your wrist, he then took the other and put it on his. "Now we match!" He smiled.
"Where should we go next?" You asked him. "Hmm, wanna get food then go to karaoke?" Joe said as he still looked at the keychain you got him. "Sure! Lets go!" You both walked to a nearby café and arrived less than 5 minutes later. You ordered a coffee and a sandwich. Joe ordered the same thing but he had iced coffee. Once you two got your orders you sat down at the tables they had there and ate your sandwiches and taking sips of coffee. You two just talked about random things and soon enough you finished your food and your coffee.
"Alright, ready to go to karaoke?" You asked. "Ready as ill ever be!" Joe smiled as you two walked to karaoke that was only a little farther away. "See skipping classes haven't been that bad, right?" Joe asked as he held your held while you two walked. "Its actually been really fun. Although I'll probably have to ask Sara if I can borrow her notes so I understand what we missed in class today." You replied as Joe nodded. You two talked a bit more before you arrived at karaoke. You rented a room and you both went into it. Joe sang his heart out for some songs while you laughed from him being slightly off pitch. You also sang some songs and you and Joe song songs together too.
You both stayed there for a few hours just singing random songs and having fun. After a while you left though. Classes were over so the two of you just walked home together. You soon arrived at your house and you gave Joe a kiss on the cheek. "I had fun today, thank you." You smiled. "It was no problem Y/n. I had fun too." Joe smiled back and waved as you walked into your house. He then walked back to his own home.
