rain poured outside, the cracked windows gently letting the smell of the rain inside. you sighed. you'd been inside all day with joe, as there was nothing else you two could do all day.
well, you weren't complaining. you'd gotten to spend all day cuddling with him.
"y/n?" joe grabbed your hand. he noticed the look on your face immediately. "ohh..." he thought for a moment, then lightly pushed you off of him. "we're going on a walk." he grabbed a jacket.
"what?" you looked at him, confused.
"cmon! it's just water. what'll it hurt?" he brought up. you opened your mouth to speak, but let out a small laugh. you snatched a hoodie off of a hanger in your closet and threw it on.
joe grabbed your hand and took you through the front door when you both got your shoes on.
the rain started beating down on your heads as you stepped out, joe sticking his tongue out and attempting to catch rain drops. you giggled, running out into the street.
he joined you, grabbing you by your waist and spinning you around. you both giggled, your faces close together. he kissed you on the nose and wiped some of the rain off of your face.
you began running down your street, your feet splashing in small puddles. "hey, y/n-!" joe yelled after you. he began chasing after you, eventually catching up and wrapping his arms around you into a hug.
"aw damn. at least it's just you." you smiled at him, rolling your head back. he hugged you tighter, slightly swaying back and forth.
you stood there for a moment, just enjoying each other. the rain hitting you two was relaxing, never having done this before.
"...we're gonna get sick." you broke the silence. "and? at least we'd be sick together." joe nuzzled his face into your neck. you sighed, a small smile on your face.
"i guess so."
