7: Ghost

Eda tapped her feet rhythmically to the floor in wait.

"Are you sure you don't want their parents knowing about this??" She asked.

Bump sighed.

"Miss. Edalyn, you do realize that both their parents live far, we offered their children to be picked up on a bus from our academy... Remember?" He asked with a raised brow.

Eda groaned and just said, "but they almost found her."

Bump flinched in his seat.

Pausing on work, he pulled the laptop close to him.

"Was she found?" He asked.

Eda hummed.

"I don't know... Boscha said Luz jumped and Luz said she was kicked. And we can't be sure Luz saw her, but she did say yes when I asked." She said before grabbing a stick from her cigarette pack.

With a flick of her fingers, a spark of fire bloomed on it, allowing her to light a smoke.

Bump scrunched covering his nose.

"Didn't I tell you not to smoke inside the academy, Miss. Edalyn?" He asked.

"Hah! Yeah, but I really need this one. I haven't had a smoke in two weeks because of work." Eda huffed laying back on her seat.

Bump sighed.

"The stench of it is terrible and worse, terrible towards humans if they inhale even just some of it." He scoffed.

Eda laughed blowing smoke at him in retort.

Bump waved his hand to put it away.

"Principal Bump? A moment, please?"

Eda and Bump turned to the door to see Odalia.

Eda frowned seeing her and blew another huff in the air.

"Stop that! And secondly, I've got the camera from last night. Let them all in now." Bump said waving a bit of smoke away from him.

Eda shrugged pressing two fingers to turn the cigarette off. Tossing it to the side, she crossed her legs as she watched Odalia take Boscha in with Lilith just behind them.

"Where's Luz??" Eda asked with a raised brow.

"She went to the bathroom to clear her mind. She told me she had a nightmare last night and couldn't sleep well." Lilith answered.

Eda hummed.

Boscha sat down with Odalia beside her.

"Until Luz Noceda is here, we'll wait." Bump offered.

Everyone agreed.

"Ok, but can I and my sis take a quick talk outside for a bit? I need to talk to her about something." Eda asked.

"Is it about a female student from the dorms? The one that died due to suffocation and someone specifically exorcising every single ghost that had always subsided there too?" Bump asked.

Boscha looked at him with such a confused yet curious look.

Odalia covered her eyes.

"Don't get curious." She whispered.

Boscha flinched looking down.

Eda nodded firmly.

"Sure, take your time until Luz Noceda comes here." Bump hummed.
