Luz sat down in front of the piano and pulled it open for her to feel around the keys laid in display.

What should she play?

Oh, what should she play?

Willow had said that Eda was gonna start classes soon and Gus was just practicing a bit, letting himself get in the flow y'now.

She hummed, pressing a few chords here and there to give herself a little warm-up before deciding to play a piece she remembers all too vividly that her father played when she was four.

She somehow managed to make the whole room pause to watch her.

Gus ended up slowly pausing on his violin, hell, almost snapping the strings in the process if he hadn't been sensible.

It was such a nostalgic song for them, especially since it was played in the piano too.

Luz's handiwork was incredible for them.

Hell, they're pretty sure her former teacher will be regretting swapping a student over her.

...

"Thanks for helping me, kid, my sister's bee yelling into my ear after I got out of that nicknamed personnel room." Eda said as she flicked the baton in one hand while gesturing on the other.

She hummed whistling a little.

Willow smiled nodding as she pulled the new music sheets for their new pianist closer.

"I hope the new kid doesn't find it too hard catching up to our level in our choir... That dang principal thinks he can expect big on me just because I'm a Clawthorne like Lily, tsk!" Eda ranted a little, making Willow laugh in amusement.

"Don't worry, Miss. Eda, you can count on us!" She cheered.

Eda smiled patting her head as she said, "ahh... What am I thinking, I don't care if you guys don't ace it or not! I'm sure you all do great work, and... Hm? What the hell is that sucker doing there..?"

Willow glanced over what her teacher was looking at.

Their classroom door was open and the principal was looking inside. And the closer they got, the clearer the music was.

Hell, the closer they also got, the clearer they also saw the look of shock and mesmerization was on the principal's face that Eda had to pat him on the shoulder to snap him from his daze when the music finally stopped.

Willow looked inside.

Someone had been playing the piano.

'Was it her..?' she thought looking around.

'Did she finally decide to play here than in the basement??' she couldn't help but feel a little excited. That would be such a wonderful news for her, if only it was really her and not Luz.

"Hey, Willow! And good afternoon, Miss. Edalyn!" Luz smiled waving when she got up from the piano.

Eda raised a brow and walked inside after shutting the door on the principal.

Everyone seemed dazed.

Her eyes widened a bit looking at everyone. They all looked hypnotized by something yet there was nothing for her to see as evidence of it!
