13: Clinic

Luz awoke to the sound of talking.

Wincing, she slowly opened her eyes before widening them upon seeing not two but three eyes staring back down on her.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh---"

A scream immediately left her to pull away and immediately fall with a thump before scurrying back to her feet and rushing straight into curtains.

Fwip!

Thump!

"Gugh--!??"

"Arghk----?!"

She fell on top of someone.

"Oww..!" She muttered trying to sit up as the obstacle she had hit yanked the curtains off of her.

Luz froze.

'Shit..!'

"Grrrrr..."

"Eek--!"

Amity scowled like an enraged bear.

"Be nice to your friend, Amity."

Luz looked over where that voice for a man came from.

"Hyaak--?!" She squeaked fear from her throat and shoved her face down.

Amity stared at her clutching her grudgby jacket.

Alador smiled.

"Look, she's like a puppy. Surely, you can afford to fall in love with her..." He offered.

Amity growled at him.

Viney and Willow were in a bit of panic as Luz did cling to Amity like a dog fearing pain.

"Wait, did that human just look at me..?" Alador blinked.

"Yes..." Amity gritted her teeth, she was revealing fangs now and that was not a good sign.

Alador's eyes widened and he immediately cleared his throat.

"W-Well, it looks like it's almost bedtime for me." He excused himself and rushed down the floors.

Boscha stared at Luz. She was stuck to Amity like a leech for her.

"Uhh... Hey..."

Amity snapped her head at her when she tried to speak.

"Eek--!" Boscha immediately fell sitting back on her chair.

There was no way in hell she was fighting someone like Amity unless necessary.

"H-Hey, uhmm?" Viney called.

Willow wasn't sure if Amity was being neutral or nice. She was never sure since she hadn't gotten a good foundation in their friendship and whatnot.

"Amity, i-if you'd like... I'll help you get her--"

"Luz."

Everyone paused.

She knew her name?

Luz was still shaking keeping her head dug on her.

"Luz." She called again.

Luz immediately jolted in surprise to slowly look up. Her face went red. She was the one all over her face instead.

"I-I'm so sorry!!" She sputtered shoving herself away.

Amity stared at her.

"You,"

Luz paused.

"M-Me..?" She muttered.
