[Warning: Mention of almost dying]
"Why are you so mean!??"
Amity wasn't sure if she was feeling guilt or sadism. She just stared at Luz crouch under a tree, bawled crying.
She's been crying for the past fifty minutes. What the hell is she supposed to talk about to a crying child?
"Fine, I am sorry." She said.
She didn't mean that at all.
"You didn't mean that at all!!" Luz yelled.
Amity grew a nerve.
"I am so very sorry." She added a bit more to her wording.
Luz sniffled.
Amity sighed and walked over grabbing her by the arms to stand up.
She grabbed a handkerchief from her jacket and wiped her tears.
"Now stop crying, I'll talk nothing with you if you cry like that." She said.
Luz huffed looking down sad.
Amity continued to wipe her face dry before muttering what she could see in front of her, "dumbass..."
Luz shot up.
"What..!?" She furrowed her brows pulling the handkerchief away from her.
"You're hearing things, c'mon, talking in the forest that's supposed to be called when it's dense is not working." Amity waved her off.
Luz followed behind her.
Well, she was being dragged by the wrist here.
Amity gave it a firm squeeze.
"Agh--! C-Careful! I just finished an entire day of playing!" Luz sputtered.
Amity looked over her shoulder yet continued walking as she said, "how on earth do you always hurt your hands when you play the piano??"
"I... I don't know if there's a right positioning for the hands in playing piano and all... But, I play when I play and I don't stop unless my hands begin to hurt or if classes are over." Luz pondered.
Amity sighed yanking her forward beside her.
Luz jolted upright getting pulled close.
Amity never hesitates to get her close to her.
Chu
Luz flinched by the sudden physical sensation.
"There, both your hands should be fine now." Amity huffed as they got into the side of the road and out of the trees.
A few cars were passing by.
Well, the academy was situated on a high place, maybe a few hills above with a stretch of the private road leading to the main front of it.
Luz blinked.
Had she walked downhill to talk to Amity? She was sure she'd need a bicycle to even get out of the gates to go to a store for anything.
"How did..?" She pondered looking around the road.
"Huh?" Amity looked over.
"Oh! N-Nothing!" Luz stammered.
Amity stared before saying, "let's go buy ice cream, I know a place close by that'll give us free cups for it."
Luz watched as Amity lightly pointed to a truck.
"See that truck? I'll teach you a new spell, it's called Invert Teleportation." Amity shrugged.
Luz continued to watch.
