[Warning: Vomiting]
Luz trailed following behind Amity. She was dragging her feet.
She mentally sighed.
How can she get closer to someone who... Doesn't in the slightest want to associate with her??
Let alone... Want to call their confusing relationship friendship??
Can they even call it that?
"What are you slowing down for?"
Luz felt her back grow weary to her.
"I don't know... I'm feeling kinda weak for some reason," she muttered looking down on a hand.
Amity glanced over her shoulder.
"Your eyes are glowing. Looks like you're just hitting Puberty." She shrugged it off.
"Huh..? Puberty?? But... I'm pretty sure I already went through halfway it and it just stopped when I turned fourteen weeks ago for some reason..." Luz muttered to herself as the second drag on her feet caused her to trip over a crooked pavement and fall face flat to the ground.
"Arghk--!?!!"
She winced.
Amity stopped walking.
"What fuckery are you doing now?" She asked.
Luz held back a hiccup behind her throat as she tried to get back up. Her face was red, maybe a little scarred but luckily, she didn't get a broken nose over that embarrassing trip.
Amity walked over to her and crouched to her level.
"You're an idiot y'know that?" She blinked staring at her.
There wasn't any hint of worry, fright, or contemplation in Amity's face when Luz looked up at her with aching lips.
She frowned sighing aloud.
"It's not my fault I suddenly feel dizzy! It was probably because of that rock thing... Does it have any side effects for new users?? You seem too used to doing it!" She whined.
Amity stared without much expression. Her gaze kind of felt cold.
"Yeah, it does have side effects for new users." She said, a grin plastering so carefully on her face.
Luz blinked.
"R-Really--uurghh..?!" Before she could even ask it, she suddenly felt her gaze shift to the ground with a hand already on her mouth by reflex.
Amity chuckled darkly.
"First symptoms of the side effects are... Slowly disappearing energy," she began.
Luz felt woozy. Her only supporting arm almost gave up on her.
"Second symptom of the side effects is... Dragging feet." She continued.
Luz groaned feeling something slowly climb up to her mouth to hurl.
"Third symptom of the side effects is... Throwing up any meal of the day that you last ate." She ended it with a smile.
Luz threw up when her body finally reached the limit of it.
Cough!
Cough!
Heave--
Cough!!
"Don't worry, they're not fatal," Amity assured her though.
Luz gasped, almost wheezing as if her lungs were enclosing on her to faint.
Amity pulled her back to sit up.
