Chapter Eighteen-
_Kellin's POV_
At the end of that day at the beach, everyone was really really in a romantic mood, meaning some of them left without a warning, including Jack and Alex, Gabe and Sophia, Jesse and Ashley, basically everyone me, Vic, Jaime, Jessica, Justin, and his new friend were left at the beach. Thankfully for us, Jack and Alex got a ride with Mike and Alysha, but unlucky Justin had driven here with Gabe and Sophia, meaning he had no ride.
"Hey, Justin! Me and Vic could give you and your friend a ride home!" I suggested, walking over to the two of them. Vic chuckled following behind me as we walked over to the two of them. Justin looked at the blonde headed girl, who shrugged.
"I was going to have to leave soon anyways." She said, shrugging her shoulders and smiling at us. "I'm Sarah by the way." She said, holding her hand out for me and Vic. I smiled, nodding, and shaking her hand.
"I'm Kellin and this is Vic." I said, nodding over to him, who smiled at her, nodding his hello. Vic being quiet for once, that's new, I thought to myself.
After small introductions, we all got into into the car and headed off to the closet house, which happened to be Vic's, but since he was the one driving, we just drove past his house. "Oh come on! You could have just driven my car back Kells!" Vic said, as we drove past his house, where I could see Alysha's car parked in the driveway.
"Well, after what happened at the beach when everyone was making "lovie eyes" at each other, I figured you WOULDN'T want to hear the sounds of your brother having sex with someone." I said, shrugging, and smiling as I heard Justin and Sarah snicker in the backseat. "I'm sorry I was just trying to look out for you." I said, sighing and shaking my head as to be dramatic.
Vic groaned, keeping his eyes focused on the road. "I completely forgot about them.. Sarah, please tell me you live on the other side of town." He said, looking in the mirror so he could look her in the eye. She chuckled, shaking her head.
"Nope, I live down the street from your house." She said, before looking back at Justin, and they went back into their deep conversation.
"Do you think Justin likes her?" Vic asked me quietly, as we drove to Sarah's house. I looked back at the two of them. At first, I would've quickly turned back to look at Vic and say that there was no way Justin was over Lindsey that quick, but when I looked at them, I realized how happy Justin seemed, not the fake version of himself that he was just a few hours ago.
"I think he might.." I said, turning back to look at Vic, who smiled. I, however, sighed. Don't get me wrong, I was really happy that Justin was happy, he is my best friend! But, I still was pondering the whole "Lindsey cheating on Justin with Matt Kean" thing. For god sakes, the enemy of her boyfriend. Maybe I was just over thinking that, but I just couldn't believe she would do that to her boyfriend. She was always sweet to him and us, and it looked like they really loved each other. But, when I looked back at Justin and Sarah, one look in Justin's eyes told me he was falling for this girl, hard and fast.
After having dropped, Justin and Sarah off, we were on our way to drop me. I didn't live far away, but I lived a little ways away, after all, I walked here so it wasn't that far. I looked at Vic, who was concentrated on driving before thinking back to our early conversation at the beach, which was anything but romantic.
_Flashback_
I walked over to Vic, who was seemingly lost in the view of the beach. Quietly, I sat down next to him, making him jump almost twenty feet in the air. I chuckled a little. Vic rolled his eyes at me. "Jeez, Kells, you scared me." He said, his breathing somewhat heavier then before. I gave him an apologetic smile.
