Chapter Thirty Two-
Kellin's POV
6:00pm
Instead of going out like everyone else, Vic and I had stayed in our room almost the entire time, though we did end up walking out of the room once or twice and wondering the halls, where we ran into Sarah and Justin a couple times. But both of them were both to much in lala land with each other that they hardly paid attention to the two of us, so we just went back to our hotel room.
But now, it was 6 pm and all of us were meeting up at some restaurant to have dinner with each other. Since it there was almost eighteen of us going, we couldn't go to some cheap restaurant, so instead all of us were going to a more, upper class restaurant. It definitely wasn't what you would call rich people fancy, but it sure as hell was expensive. Hell, we had to make a reservation just to get a table. When we all met up there with everyone else, they had us sit in a dinning area where a long table awaited us. Of course, I took a seat next to Vic, and Alex was sitting on my other side, Barakat by him. After the eighteen of us finally got settled in our seats, we all ordered our drinks, and began our own little conversations with each other. Something Mike said grabbed my attention, "So Vic, how's things going with Kellin?" Instead of ease dropping in their conversation, I joined in on it, starring the older Fuentes head on. He gave me a friendly smile before he spoke.
"Things with Kells are amazing. We're still together, aren't we?" Under the table, Vic grabbed my hand, squeezing once. I sent a smile his way, happy with his answer, before turning back to Alex, who was snickering with Barakat. Still holding Vic's hand under the table, I started talking to the two.
"Barakat did you two do today?" I asked them, raising an eyebrow. Instantly, Alex's cheeks flushed, while Jack stayed relaxed, giving me a lazy smile.
"We went to the beach, and then we went back to our room, and.. Um, I did something." He said, trying to find a way to word it, without sounding like the pervert we all knew and loved. Alex's cheeks got redder while Barakat's smile turned into a full blown smirk. I rolled my eyes, a small smile playing on my lips as I shook my head.
"And how was the beach?" I asked them. Alex's attention was immediately fully concentrated on talking about the trip to the beach, obviously trying to make me forget about the previous conversation. Barakat sat back, snickering, but occasionally adding in something Alex forgot or his own little comment.
The entire time Alex talked, I kept my hand in Vic's, until halfway through he rested his hand on my thigh, letting go of my hand. I looked at Vic briefly, but he was paying too much attention to his conversation with Jaime and Sarah. So, I turned back to Alex and Barakat, who didn't notice my attention had fell. Still, I listened to the two of them as they talked, nodding and chuckling sometimes. Vic's hand unconsciously rubbed my thigh. Every now and then, I'd glance back at him, but like I said before, he was too into his current conversation with Sarah and Jaime. I shrugged it off and just thought he wasn't doing it on purpose.
And that turned out to be true, because even when the waitress came back out to get our orders, Vic's hand stayed exactly where it was, rubbing my thigh. We all gave the waitress our orders, and none of us missed how she flirted with Vic, who casually waved her off. I sent Matty a look, and he returned the look with an amused expression. It was like Vic hadn't even known that that girl was flirting with him, even the others girls noticed and were sending the waitress warning looks. But, when the waitress left, everyone but Vic, including me, bursted out laughing. He frowned, looking around at all of us.
"Man Vic, you have it sooo bad! That girl was majorly flirting with you and you didn't even notice!" Mike finally got through out of his laughs, while the rest of us nodded our heads, agreeing with him, and trying to hold in our laughter.
"She was?" Vic asked, raising an eyebrow. Everyone nodded their heads, and Vic turned to look at me, moving his hand off my thigh. "That's a good thing, right?" He asked me. I snickered, nodding my head quickly in agreement. It was definitely a good thing to me, but of course, not for the waitress, but oh well.
After that, all of us continued on with our conversations, though Jack and Alex had turned to their own conversations and I turned to Vic, who was laughing at something Jaime said. I smiled a little, before moving over and resting my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes. Vic and I hadn't done much today, but for some reason, I was really tired. I sighed in contentment.
But instead of letting me rest, someone called my name, making me jump up in surprise. Vic chuckled, and I soon realized it was Jesse who called out my name. I raised an eyebrow at him, crossing my arms over my chest. "Sorry man, just wanted to talk." I rolled my eyes a little, but nodded, waiting for him to go on. "Anyways, I just wanted to talk. Been a while since we've able to just talk, you know??" He said, chuckling. I nodded.
And after that the rest of the evening went perfectly. And we were able to live out our night as teenagers, having fun, and just getting to be random and joke around, and getting to be, well, do whatever we wanted too.
