Chapter Thirty Three-
After that weekend in downtown San Diego, we went back to San Diego and back to the routine known as our lives. At first, Vic was really nervous to go back to school, still nervous about the fact that people knew he was gay. But of course, I had talked him out of his ridiculous plan to stay home. If Vic should've been worried about anything, it would be Oli.

I mean, he was the one who seemed to have the most against us. With his telling the school about Vic's secrets failing, he was bound to have a back up plan, which we needed to consider. He had a grudge against me and Vic for some reason, so we both knew he wasn't going to give up so easily. He had to have some other type of plan up his sleeve that we just didn't know about.

Which was why on Monday, Vic seemed to be extremely protective of me. Literally, in every class we had together, he was always by my side, watching me like a hawk. It was almost scary, even though I knew it was protection. By 3rd hour, everyone in our group had noticed Vic being over protective, which was why on one of the rare occasions Vic wasn't watching me like a hawk, Matty mentioned it. "Any reason Vic will hardly not be looking your way?" He asked in 3rd hour. I sighed, nodding my head.

"Yeah, I mentioned how Oli might have some bad plan and ever since I did, Vic won't let me out of his sights." I whispered to him, so we wouldn't get caught by Vic or the teacher. Matty let out a quiet chuckle.
"Aww, that's nice of him." He said, grinning. I rolled my eyes, but smiled a little. Matty was right. It was sweet, but it was a little overboard. I mean, I loved how much Vic loved me, but sometimes, there's such a thing as too much. Too much of love is too much sometimes, but in this case, I guess I couldn't judge him. he was worried about me. Last time, Oli had gone after Vic, there was a big chance he would go after me this time. But with what? Dating Vic had been my only secret.

"It's probably a good thing he's keeping watch over you, 'cause Oli's sending you some looks." Matty whispered, pulling me out of my thoughts. Oh yeah, I forgot that I shared this class with not Vic and Matty, but with Oli too, even though this was the one class he was quiet in. I looked over at where Oli sat, and saw that he was indeed starring at me.

Quickly, I looked away and looked over at Vic, who had his head bent over his work. Discreetly, I nudged him with my elbow. His head shot up, he looked over at me, raising an eyebrow. I nodded my head over to where Oli sat a little ways away from us. Vic looked over there, his eyes narrowing as he saw that Oli was starring at me.

Oli's eyes looked over at Vic, a smirk on his face. I saw Vic clench his hand under the desk, and I knew he was having to reframe himself from saying anything. The two of them didn't say anything, they just stared at one another, Vic's face blank and a smirk on Oli's face. I bit my lip, wondering if anything bad could of them starring at one another. But after them doing that for what felt like hours, I heard the teacher clear her throat.

"Mr. Fuentes, Mr. Sykes. Is there a problem?" He asked the two of them. Vic muttered no, and turned back to his work, while Oli shook his head, the smirk remaining on his face. That son of a bitch was too cocky. I sighed, shaking my head, and turning back to my own english work.

After the bell rang a couple of minutes later, Oli walked up to my desk, a smirk still on his face. "How's life been Quinn?" He asked cockily, smirking. I saw Vic tense up, walking over to me, Matty behind him, his arms crossed. Oli grinned at me and Vic. "Oh yeah, must be pretty good huh? Being able to kiss your boyfriend in public now right?" He asked.

"That, Sykes, is none of your goddamn business." Vic said, standing in front of me. This only made Oli grin more. He seemed to be enjoying this more then anything else.

"Oh? Is that right mate? Because, if anything, you should be thanking me announcing you two to the word, except that is, your parents." Oli grinned evilly. Vic's eyes widened, and so did mine. "That's right. Do your parents even know your sexual preferences?" Vic nodded stiffly. Oli chuckled. "But they don't know about you and Kellin here, do they?" Vic clenched his jaw. "No? It'd be a shame if they, right?" Oli asked, grinning before he walked away from us, leaving us in a mostly empty classroom, wondering what the hell he was planning.

"Vic.." I said quietly, but he shook his head, letting out a long sigh. Matty gave me a sympathetic smile, before leaving the classroom. "Come on Vic, we need to get to lunch." I said, grabbing his hand. Vic nodded, not saying anything, but following me out of the classroom.

We walked to our lunch in silence, neither of us saying a word. Honestly, I was worried about Vic. Oli had practically threatened to Vic's parents about us, and to Vic, that could mean big trouble. His parents thought him being gay was just a phase, but if they knew he was dating me, a guy, they'd freak out. God only knows what they'd do to him. They might not be the most religious people, but Vic's parents wanted the perfect son, and Vic being gay would mess up that image even more for them, especially his dad's.

Oli telling Vic's parents about us was almost the worst thing he could to Vic. And with the way that earlier conversation went, it seemed like that was Oli's plan, not to mess with me, but to mess with Vic once again.
