The clock struck midnight and I was in the living room with Mark. He was on his phone, singing softly as he sat across from me on the couch. I smiled at him softly and then said,

"Hey baby?"

He looked up and said,

"Hm?"

As he had his bottom lip between his teeth,

"Happy second anniversary."

His eyes widened and he checked the time,

"Damn it! I wanted to tell you first!"

I giggled as he pouted,

"You can have next year."

"But next year it'll be our wedding anniversary."

"Oooh you're right! But my question is, should we celebrate both anniversaries once we get married?"

He thought for a second and put his phone on his chest, his lips went into a thoughtful pout and then said,

"Hmm I think we should! Like for our dating anniversary we should just go on a cute little date or something but do presents and stuff for our wedding anniversary!"

"I like that idea! My husband's a genius."

"I'm not you're husband yet, baby"

"Close enough. You've been dating me for two years."

He giggled and sat his phone on the coffee table,

"Felix is at work."

"He is... isn't he?"

He got onto his knees on the couch before he crawled on top of me. I had had my legs on him but now he was on my legs, well more like on my lap. I giggled as he put his hands on my sides of my neck,

"Are we going to do it or just make out on the couch?"

"Why don't we just see where it goes?"

"That works for me."

He leaned down and kissed me. I chuckled into it and put my arms around him. I felt him laugh through his nose and I pulled back to look at him,

"God... you're so fucking beautiful."

He smiled shyly and said,

"So are you."

"No like, you're literally the most beautiful person to me. Like ever."

He blushed and shook his head,

"That's not possible."

"It is though."

I meant what I said, and I think he was starting to realize this I wasn't bullshitting. He buried his face in my neck,

"Stop iiittt!"

I smiled and hugged him burning my nose in his hair,

"No! I never will because I love you and want you to know how beautiful you are!"

He sat up and said,

"Well I think you're the most beautiful person ever to me too. I'm not bullshitting you either."

"Shut up and kiss me."
