I was in the bathroom, fixing my hair when there was suddenly a knock at the door,

"Hey, Xu! Can you get that?"

There was no response,

"Xu?"

When I still got no answer I poked my head out of the bathroom. He wasn't anywhere to been seen, which was odd.

"Xuxi?"

I shook my head and walked over tot he door and opened it. There stood Xuxi. He was smiling like an idiot and holding something behind his back,

"Xu, What are you-"

"Sssh I'm here to take you out on our date!"

I smiled and looked down shaking my head,

"You're so weird."

I said while laughing. I looked up and he smiled and swayed back and forth a little,

"What do you have behind your back?"

"I'm so glad you asked!"

He pulled a small bouquet of flowers and handed them to me. I smiled wide and took them from him,

"Awe thank you!"

I hugged him and then made him come into our dorm room. I put the flowers on the counter for now

"We don't have a vase. We'll have to find something to put them in when we get back."

Lucas nodded and asked,

"Are you ready to go?"

I nodded and said,

"I have to put shoes on but then yeah I am."

"Okay!"

I put my shoes on and then said,

"Let's go!"

Lucas then reached out to hold my hand, and I gladly took it. He interlaced our fingers and led me out to his car. He opened to door for me and I thanked him. I got in and he shut the door carefully and then ran over to the drivers side. He got into the car and started it.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

I groaned,

"Whyyy?"

"Because! It's surprising."

I rolled my eyes but smiled anyway. I buckled up as he did the same and then he started driving.

We arrived at this restaurant/arcade. I looked over at him and giggled,

"Aren't we a little to old for this place?"

He shook his head,

"Nope. This isn't a kids place surprisingly."

"Oh... Okay!"

He laughed a little and said,

"They have alcohol and all that fun stuff."

I laughed and nodded,

"Okay. Let's go then!"

We got out of the car and Lucas walked over to me,

"Sorry if this isn't what you were expecting..."

I smiled,

"No! I'm glad it's not a fancy place! Those aren't really my style. And we get to have fun together!"
