Y/n POV I sighed to myself as I felt my bodyguards not far from behind me as I try to find a large crowd to get lost in. I've always hated these bodyguards, I can defend myself. Well.. Now I can actually. It was a one time situation that happened.
* Flashback to 3 years ago *
Y/n POV ( past) " HELP-" I shout before I got slammed into a brick wall on a side of the alley. I was running from this random freak who eyed me in a store earlier but as soon as I left he left. I tried to struggle from his musty hands but he kept slamming me repeatedly to get me to shut up. I tried to fight back but I was never good at combat no matter what situation. I felt my blood run cold once I felt a certain chill run through my body. My boyfriend... Jaehyuk Lee.
I felt wind hit past me as I saw that freak slammed into a separate wall knocking out instantly. My body must have been only running on adrenaline since my legs immediately gave out, my tears flowing like waterfalls. From that day on Jaehyuk always had bodyguards around me, then again I never knew how he knew I needed him. He just always seemed to appear in the right moment.
Y/n POV ( now) I finally reached my own apartment and opened the door before bowing to the bodyguards as they stayed outside guarding the door. I sighed throwing my bag on the sofa before walking upstairs tiredly. I haven't visited Jaehyuk in a few days, I would visit now but who knows what he's doing this time.
I plopped onto my bed landing face first into the pillows. I whined to myself knowing that he would scold me if I snuck away from the guards. Then again I'm that bitch.
I stood up and grabbed my phone and opened the window looking everywhere. If I jump I would land on a bush so it's not even a far fall. I sighed and jumped out the window landing exactly in the bush staying there for a few seconds to see if anyone would run to me. I didn't hear any footsteps as I got out the bush and opened the back gate slowly closing it behind me before looking everywhere again. I saw no one so I took off running to Jaehyuk's house.
After probably 20 minutes I found his house and knocked tiredly on his door. I heard a his voice groaning out a frustrated ' What! ' then the door opened and he dropped his phone immediately embracing me making me confused.
I hugged back confusingly as his grip got a little bit tighter. Is he alright?
" Jaehyuk are you.. Alright?" I ask and he sighs a bit breaking the hug before cupping my cheeks. " Babe I asked the bodyguards to check around the house and they said you were gone. Do you know how scared I was?" He asked as he picked up his phone and grabbed my hand before we both walked inside his house.
Jaehyuk POV I picked up my phone and grabbed Y/n's hand as we walked into my house. " I'm.. I'm just tired.." She mumbled making me confused as we sat down on my couch. " Baby what's that supposed to mean? You should sleep when you get tired." I say and she shakes her head. " No I mean I love you and all but.. I hate having bodyguards Jae.. It's just annoying I can't have my own space. Don't you remember how long it took to convince you to not keep a bodyguard in my bedroom at day and night? " She asked making me roll my eyes. " I mean of course I remember that mess but.. I just.." I sigh putting my face in my hands as she rubs my back " Beautiful... I get scared alright? I don't want to find you in another alley this time hurt or even worse alright? It terrified me when you were all weak and broken looking. I mean who wants to see their girlfriend looking like that?" I ask looking over at her as I take my glasses off and she whines. " But I'm better at combat alright? I've already beaten your ass to the pulp remember? I can defend myself Jae I'm confident. I don't want someone to always have to watch me, it was a one time thing. " She says making me whine this time.
" Jae just have faith in me alright? Maybe trust? Hell I'll take anything if it means no bodyguards." She says and I inhaled deeply before sighing. " Fine if you can go a week without needing a bodyguard... Then you won't need them anymore alright babe?" I ask but she tackles me into a hug making me laugh wrapping my arms around her.
She places kisses all over my face thanking me happily making me smile putting my glasses back on. " Alright~ I won't need bodyguards anywhere alright? If I find out I'll beat you up again." She said kissing my nose and I rolled my eyes playfully before nodding. . . . . . . . . . . " I'll have faith and trust in you beautiful"
