Chapter 14

Vanessa's P.O.V
I'm so happy for Maddie!! She must be really nervous and really excited. I sighed and my phone rang. I got off the chair I was previously sitting on and walked over to the night table my phone was settled on I checked the caller ID and smiled.
"Hi babe!!" Michael yelled through the phone and I held the phone away from my ear
"Hey Mikey" I chuckled "okay I hear ringing in my ears cause your so fucking loud" I said "IM SORRY" he screamed and laughed "okay..yep I'm deaf...bye Mikey" I said "wait no no no! Don't end it please!" He said frantically "alright,alright I was just joking" I said "okay good..sooooo" he said bringing the 'so' out "sooooooooooo" I said making the 'so' longer "Wanna come over?" He asked "hmm let me think" I said and ended the call I put my phone down and ran up to my room I'm gonna surprise him. I opened my closet and got out my cartoon printed panda shirt and black high wasted shorts and for accessories I got an infinity necklace and a couple bracelets I made myself out of string. I put on black converse and quickly gave myself loose curls so my colored hair would pop out. I ran out the door and walked to Michael's house even though it was about 15 minutes away.

I finally arrived at Michael's house I knocked on the door I checked the time on my phone and saw 10 missed calls from Michael. I heard shuffling behind the door then the door swung open reveling Michael "NESS" he yelled and pulled me in a hug I hugged him back then pulled away and he took my hand "come on let's go and play video games!" He yelled excitedly and he lead me up to his room. I made myself comfy and got his second controller "what games do you have?" I asked home and he brought a stack over to me "Fifa?" He said and I shook my head "I don't like sport games..I like killing people" I said and found a game that I liked "can we please play this!" I said excitedly "Call of duty...you know I have Black ops and advanced warfare" he said "no black ops is so stupid you have a fucking pistol with like four bullets in them and the zombies just come at you and yeah it just make me really mad" I said and sighed "let's play advanced warfare" I said and he nodded and put the cd in the Xbox "I'm gonna kick you in the ass" I said and looked at the screen "yeah sure I'll totally beat you" Michael said

After 5 rounds of the game I one and beat Michael in all of them.
"It's not funny" Michael said and I just kept laughing "I r-really kicked y-you ass" I said and laughed harder. "That's it" Michael said and he pinned me down I tried to hold in my laughed but I just couldn't. I wiped away my tears because I was laughing so much I started to tear up "Ness" Michael said calmly "yes" I said and stopped laughing "don't laugh at me" he said and frowned "aw I'm sorry Mikey" I said and he rolled to the other side of the bed and rested his head in the crook of my neck and he lightly placed a kiss. "Good" he said and the door barged open and Michael widened his eyes in shock and he quickly got up "what the fuck are you doing here" Michael said angrily I got up and slowly turned around and my jaw dropped "James?" I said and sat down crossed legged "hi princess" he said and I felt my stomach turn in disgust "don't fucking call me that" I said and Michael got off the bed and walked over to where James was. "Okay James you either leave or there's gonna be some trouble" Michael said "I swear if your gonna start fighting" I said and I clenched my fists then James walked up to me and held my chin in the tips of his hands I slapped his hand away and got up "feisty..I like it" he said and winked "how did you even get in here" Michael said "it's called leaving the door open" James replied " what are you doing here?" I asked "easy question.." He said and took a step closer and sighed "it's to get you" he said and I took a step back and headed to the window but he grabbed my wrist and I flinched in pain "let go" i said and yanked my hand away "James let her fucking go!" Michael said and hit him right in the jaw "Michael s-stop" I said and shivered "Vanessa! He wants to get in your fucking pants!" Michael yelled and I was terrified "like you aren't already" James said "Michael STOP" I screamed and Michael held onto my shoulders tightly "I need to protect you" he said calmly and I swallowed the lump in my throat "okay" I said and he let go I took the switchblade out of my pocket I'm not a murderer it's called self defense "okay James" I said and held out the knife and he put his hands up in defense "if you leave there won't be a problem" I said and walked towards him and he ran out the door. "That's how you deal with it" I said and smirked "Vanessa I'm sorry" Michael said and hugged my from behind pans kissed my cheek multiple times "it's okay I understand why you would be mad" I said and pecked his lips.
