Maddie's POV

Ness harshly pulled her wrist out of my grasp and snapped at me. She then excused herself and rushed back into her house. What did I do? I thought to myself. Then it clicked. The cuts. I'm so stupid, how did I forget. My thoughts were interrupted by a blue eyed beauty in plaid.

"-out right now." Is all I heard from Luke's statement.

"I'm sorry, what was that you said. I kinda just spaced out. Hehe" I said awkwardly while looking down and biting my lip.

He just chuckled and responded getting serious,"I asked if you were alright because, as you just pointed out, you spaced out sweetheart."

I blushed as he called me sweetheart. I responded with saying that I was fine and just remembered something. I was only half lying. It's not my place to tell what I really remembered. Luke just nodded and let it go.

When Vanessa got back I saw she had bracelets all up her arms. Our gazes met for a few seconds before she looked away and put on a smirk. Gosh she is really making me feel guilty. I just hope she forgives me.

--------TIME SKIP--------

At the ice cream parlor we all found a place to sit. I was sat next to Calum and Luke and opposite us sat Ashton, Vanessa then Michael. Ashton and Luke offered to get our orders. We then told them the flavor we wanted and they left to the counter.

Michael and Vanessa were talking. Or at least Mikey was trying to get her to talk to him. I let it slide because I could tell she liked him and would give in eventually. In the meantime, Mr. Calum started one of the most uncomfortable, amusing, and embarrassing conversation in my life.

"You like Lucas. I can tell." Calum stated and smirked at me.

I started to blush and responded with a no and the I just met him shit.

"You are lying! I can see it" he said in a sing-song voice. "C'mon you know you want to have cut lil babies with him. They'll run around your house. The both of you will chase them. They'll be a girl and a boy. Both with dark hair and blue eyes. Dimples also. Oh I can-"

I became very uncomfortable and blushy and cut him off saying well yelling,"I DO NOT WANT HIS BABIES! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW I FEEL! I JUST MET HIM ALSO!!! SO STFU CALUM THOMAS HOOD!!!"

"Who did you just meet and not want their babies, Maddie?

I felt frozen but as if a ventriloquist was controlling me, I turned around and saw Luke looking at me and Cal with a questioning look with ice cream bowls in his hands. Behind him I saw Ashton with three other bowls in his hands holding back his adorable giggle. Michael and Vanessa had the same look. The only difference was Ness had a look of sympathy on her face and Michael with a look of curiosity.

"Uh um it us no one. Hehe" I replied awkwardly.

"Ooookay then." He responded. It was more of a question then a statement.

Oh great job Maddie. You fucked everything up.
