Maddie POV

"EEK!" I screeched with joy. Usually I could contain it but this time,I just can't. It's just been so long.

"Maddie? What's wrong?!" My dad, Billy, came rushing through the door with a worried expression on his face. Ever since Dave's death, dad has been worrying about me a lot more when I scream. It might have been inappropriate, but I giggled.

"Nothing's wrong dad. I'm just exited." I said looking at him. He let out a relieved breath.

"Oh thank the Lord Jesus Christ!" Dad said in an exasperated breath "But what are you so exited about baby girl?" I bit my lip in hesitation. I don't know if I should tell him about Luke. Last time when he broke up with me, dad almost went berserk.

I looked up at him and said,"Uh I met a boy," this caught his full attention but he stayed quiet and let me continue. "his name is Luke and he asked me out a last night. He did it at the same time Mikey asked Ness out." My dad already knew about Michael and Ness. He was the one to give Mikey the dad talk since ya know...

"Wait is that why you were out?" I nodded my head. "Well...I want to meet this Luke before if he's gonna date my baby girl. I don't want what happened last time to happen again." I grimaced at the mention of it again. Just then I received a phone call. I looked at dad with a,sorry expression and I checked the caller ID to see who it was. xxLukexx was calling it read with Luke's picture popping up on the screen.

Dad looked at me and asked if that was him. I nodded. "Well than answer it. Go on."

I answered the phone and the line was connected when I heard Luke's angelic voice.

"Hey there."

"Well hello there Flukey. Why did you call?" Dad raised his eyebrow at me. Nickname I mouthed back not explaining anything else cos Luke was on the line. Dad nodded.

He dramatically gasped on the other end. I giggled. "What I can't call an amazing girl without a reason?"

"Well Luke, knowing you there's probably something on your mind."

"Aww you know me so well already! Anyways you're right I do need to ask you something." He said getting serious.

"Fire away."

"Um I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date tomorrow? You know, uh, with me?"

A humongous grin spread across my face. "Isn't that why you asked me out Dr? Of course I will. You don't have to be nervous. It was ok last night but you're fine now."

"Oh. Ok. I was just making sure just incase you changed your mind."

"No. Why would I? You're my superhero." I could practically hear the smile forming on his face. I could hear it in his voice also.

"Great! I'll pick you up tomorrow at say 7pm? Is that alright?

Hmm let me check the good old agenda." I pause and pretend to think. I don't respond for I think 5 minutes. Dad was trying to hold in his laughter when we heard Luke asking I was still there. He was practically screaming throughout the phone because it wasn't on speaker and we could hear it.

I went back on the linee and said," No I don't think I have any plans. Sure I can go."

"Did you really check your agenda?" Aww he's so cute when he's gullible and confused.
