Chapter 27

Vanessa's P.O.V

"Maddie is the type of girl who would watch sappy love stories on TV all the time" I said and took a breath then continued again "So something very romantic like,roses and candles to set the mood then go out to eat at a fancy restaurant that will make her really lovey dovey about you and then you always..always need to use protection Hemmings" I said and looked over at Luke to only see him blushing. Yep Luke and I are on alright terms well after we kissed we apologized to each other and things are good. "Vanessa are you listening" Luke said frantically waving his hands in my face "What y-yeah" I said "sorry I spaced out" I apologized "it's fine" he said "but uh she'll fall head over heels for you, not like she already is" I chuckled and a small smile appeared on his face "okay I have a couple of ideas thanks Ness" he said "no problem" I said "so uh how are you and Michael going?" he asked nervously and scratched the back of his neck "Okay I guess" I shrugged "Spill it sista" he said making himself comfortable "Well we really haven't been talking just a lot of hi's and bye's and now" I sighed and went on "Now we barely talk to each other and I haven't seen him in forever and I don't know how he's been or what he's doing and it just a bundle of blah" I finished and caught my breath "hmmm" he said in deep thought "Well I should b-be going n-now b-bye n-ness" he stuttered and left in a flash "that was weird" I mumbled

I groaned as the doorbell rang to lazy to get up but eventually doing so. I ran down the stairs and slowly walked to the door and opened it reveling Michael. I tensed up at the sight of him and he sent me a warm smile "hi" he said breaking the silence "hey" I said "long time no see huh" he said chuckling a bit "yeah" I said awkwardly "can I come in?" he asked "sure" I said fully opening the door for him to come in. He came in and walked over to the couch and sat down "Listen Ness I know...our relationship it's just been hard you know" he said and watched me as I sat beside him "yeah" I said looking down at my hands "Ness I'm terribly sorry" he said his voice cracking at the end. I looked up at him to see his eyes welled up with tears. I crawled up to him and sat on his lap so I was face to face with him. I cupped my hands around his face and tears of my own we're starting to form. "it's okay I forgive you" I said shakily, we held each other letting our emotions out as we rubbed each others backs in comfort. Silence was filled with whispered "I love you's" and sniffling. "Thanks for coming, we both really needed this" I said and I gave him a long passionate kiss.
