Y/N stripped off her school uniform and changed into comfortable clothes. The day had been tiring. The teacher announced a surprise test and afterwards, the volleyball practice had been pretty difficult to manage because of the captain's absence.
She glanced at the stack of books which Iwaizumi had asked her to deliver to Oikawa. Picking up the books, she went downstairs to find her mother.
"Mom! I am going to Oikawa-san's place to give the books!," She called out and peeked out of the door to find her mother folding clothes. The older lady flashed a smile.
"Take some sweets I brought yesterday with you."
Y/N nodded and packed some sweets and left.
She stood in front of a decent house. The name plate indicating that it's the right place. She walked to the front door and rang the bell. She could hear a faint voice and a shuffling of feet.
The door opened and a middle age lady greeted her. With the same familiar brown hair and brown eyes, Y/N instantly recognized her as Oikawa's mother.
"Good Evening Mrs.Oikawa."
She bowed in greeting and the lady's eyes lit up and she gestured her to step inside.
"Ah you must be here to meet Tooru. Come inside."
Y/N meekly followed the lady to the stairs.
"He's upstairs. You'll find his room easily because of the alien stickers." His mother snickered at the fact which Y/N soon followed.
Y/N stood in front of the door which had several alien and spaceship stickers and she chuckled at the thought of the popular captain being such an alien freak.
"Oikawa-san! It's Y/N!" She knocked a few times and instantly heard a muffled reply to come in.
She opened the door and peered inside to find the captain sitting on the bed with one leg folded while the other spread out. She could see the bandages wrapped around his ankle.
The baby blue colored hoodie that he wore and the way his bangs were clipped up made him look cuter.
"Hey Y/N-chan!! What's up?," He asked while patting the edge of the bed gesturing her to sit down.
"Here Iwaizumi-san asked to give the books to you." Y/N handed him the packet which he took with confusion written on his face.
"Iwa-chan? Why didn't he came here himself?"
"Oh he had an appointment with the vet for his dog."
Oikawa's face contorted in confusion again for Iwaizumi never had a pet dog. Nevertheless, he nodded and began skimming through the books.
Y/N took a scan of the room. The walls were painted with pastel purple. A desk was kept near the window, completely organized unlike hers which was a complete mess. She could tell how much of a volleyball enthusiast he was from the various posters of multiple matches on the walls. A few trophies and awards were kept clean on a shelf. A certain poster which pictured a renowned personality caught her eyes.
