Y/N was at the sidelines along with the coaches as the team was getting ready for their match with Karasuno. Excitement was running through her veins. She was looking forward to the complete Karasuno team especially after witnessing the amazing foot save by their libero and their powerful ace who scored the last point against Date Tech.
"All the best everyone!" Y/N wished them luck as everyone grouped together to discuss for the last time before the match starts. Everyone's face broke into wide smiles.
They ruffled her hair much to her annoyance as a good luck charm.
"I believe in you all." She overheard Oikawa telling this to his teammates before they had to step on the court. She could notice the sudden change in the team's attitude at his words.
The whistle blew and the match began.
To everyone's surprise, Oikawa actually jumped up and spiked the ball, giving Aoba Johsai their 1st point. Later onwards, he changed his form of spiking into setting at the last moment and set to Iwaizumi who scored a point.
During the next play, Kageyama pulls off a setter dump much to everyone's shock and make the score 2-1.
In the course of time, Oikawa served the ball and aimed for Karasuno's libero. It seemed as if he was able to pick up the curve of the ball and dig it up, shocking everyone in the gymnasium.
Y/N had her hands clenched as the match continued. Hinata ran up and called out "bring it", tricking Kindaichi into jumping, only for the Ace to get the ball and deflect a spike over Kunimi's hands.
She noticed Oikawa signaling the coach for a time-out to which the older man immediately responded.
Y/N handed them their water bottles and towels to cool them down. She looked at Oikawa, who was deep in thoughts, knowing well that the captain must have picked up something from the match.
Oikawa then explained the secret to the quick attack, stating that "Bring it" meant a normal quick attack, and that "Give it here" meant it's the super version.
His observation impressed Y/N. It was this side of him that was a lot more attractive than his usual flirty side which the girls swoon over.
The score was 9-5 with Aoba Johsai in lead. She watched as Kageyama and Oikawa performed a joust and the ball ended up in Karasuno's side gaining a point to Aoba Johsai.
Aoba Johsai was now at set point at 24-15. Karasuno's ace performed a back attack but Hanamaki was able to dig it successfully. Kindaichi went to spike, but Hinata timed his jump right and managed to block him. In the end, the ball actually landed out, and Aoba Johsai won the set with 25-15.

Iwaizumi scored a back attack and tied the game. Oikawa was up to serve again. He pulls off a powerful serve that went towards the libero. At the last second, he moved his head, and the ball landed out, which surprised everyone.
Y/N recalled Oikawa's comment on how Kageyama was evolving quickly and that he would one day be his downfall. Her fingers were crossed the whole time.
It was the last point. Kageyama ran towards the ball, and he and Hinata performed their super quick attack. It was perfect with no flaws. Hinata spiked with all his force, but in the end, Kindaichi blocked the ball.
Y/N watched as the balled landed in the Karasuno's side gaining a point for Aoba Johsai making them victors.
She let out a shaky breath which she didn't know she was holding. Her lips formed a wide smile as the team returned with happiness all over their tired faces.
"Oh my God you guys!"
She gave a high-five to Oikawa who was grinning from ear-to-ear. He ruffled her hair before picking up his bottle.
While everyone there was happy, she glanced over to the other side of the court only to be met by the harsh reality of games. While one side of the court was all sunshine and rainbowd, the other side was gloomy and heartbroken.
Her lips formed a thin line as she stared at the freak duo who were the most crestfallen.
"Now it's Shiratorizawa! We'll beat Ushiwaka and go to nationals!" Oikawa's words caught her attention and excitement once again rushed through her veins.
