The calenders marked August of the year 2020. It was Day 12 of the Tokyo Olympics Men's Volleyball. The gymnasium was bustling with hoards of watchers, filled with excitement and anticipation for the match of the hometeam and Argentina.

"Y/N! Will you stop for a minute, you idiot! Let us catch up!"

Ryu called out to her as the blue haired woman excitedly yet with care, pushed away the crowd to reach the bleachers as fast as possible. He sighed as she didn't hear him. Hana, his fiancée, chuckled at her actions. They followed the woman to the bleachers.

Hana was the girl Ryu fell in love with in their high school days. They had been friends since their middle school. Her soulmate, unfortunately, passed away in a plane crash. So, Ryu was there for her but also heartbroken that she wasn't his soulmate. It took them a while to get together but it was worth it.

All of them reached the first row of the bleachers. Ryu immediately plopped down on the seat to catch his breathe after struggling to reach there. However, Y/N didn't look tired at all. A wide grin was spread on her face as she peeked down to search for her friend.

"Y/N! Here!"

She grinned at the Japanese trainer. He had grown a lot since their high school days. But still, the familiar smile was on his face. He chuckled at her energetic call.

"Iwa-chan!"

She also spotted Kageyama and Hinata on the team who were conversing with another player who she assumed was the other setter. Ryu could only chuckle at her, feeling happy for she had found her happiness. Just as he wished. His hand was entwined with Hana's as the match was about to start.

"Today they'll take on Argentina, a team that has been riding a hot streak!"

With that, the Argentinean team stepped onto the court. The light blue jersey with the country flag embroidered on the chest, shone brightly under the spotlights. The players stood with confidence reflecting on their faces.

And there he was. Looking as majestic as a king, just like his title of the "Great King". His brown tufts cropped shorter than usual and his eyes shining brightly with excitement.

His eyes roamed across the bleachers, searching for his world. His search stopped at the spot. There she was. Amidst the Japan supporters, she was standing proudly with the Argentina flag painted on her cheeks. Her face had his most favorite grin etched on it. Their eyes met and he swore his heart was doing backflips in his chest.

The match started with his more improvised beastly serve which was suprisingly recieved by Sakusa and the first point for Japan was scored by none other than the freak duo of Karasuno with their freak quick.

While every girl in the gymnasium was swooning over how charming Miya Atsumu was, how gorgeous Sakusa Kiyoomi was or how cute Hinata Shoyo was, Y/N was smiling over how perfect her Oikawa Tooru was.

Y/N and Hana were returning from the washroom. Hana was talking about her job and marriage date which earned a squeal from the blue haired girl. Y/N started planning out for their girls day and her wedding shopping. They were so immersed in their conversation that they didn't notice the two men standing there.

"And here I thought my wife left me!" Oikawa remarked in a dramatic voice.

"And my fiancée!" Ryu joined in too, hugging Hana from the back. She blushed at his words before getting a tight hug by him. Oikawa sent a small wave to her which she returned with a small smile. Y/N could only laugh at the engaged couple's interactions.

She turned around to meet her husband's brown eyes. He was gazing at her lovingly. She blushed as he kissed her forehead despite being in surrounded by others. Her ponytail brought out her soulmate mark in spotlight. It was the proof that they went against the fate and found love.

Y/N was scrolling through her twitter feed as the clicks and clips of the volleyball match flooded the screen. She leaned against the backrest of the bed, sighing in relief every now and then. Occasional smiles adored her face as Oikawa's shots caught her eyes.

Out of blue, she felt arms around her waist and the feeling of someone nuzzling their head in her belly filled her heart with warmth. One of her hand ran fingers through his hair and he sighed contently, back to his beloved's arms.

"Hey baby."

His voice was as cute as ever.

"Hmm?"

He looked up at her as she put away her phone. He grinned before stucking his tobgue out at her. This made her giggle.

"I don't call you baby, darling, you know that~"

She couldn't help but blush at his nickname. Her heart warmed up at the sight of her husband's babytalking as he whispered sweet things to her belly.

She could still remember the day as if it was yesterday when she broke the news to him. He was a crying mess and didn't hold back to hug her and spin her around. He made no delay in calling her parents as well as his on conference call and give them the good news.

"Dad can't wait to meet you, baby. But eight months are too long Y/N! " He whined making her laugh out loud.

"I can't either, but we have to, Tooru." She ruffled his hair and pinched his cheeks. He sighed and crawled closer to her face and nuzzled his nose against her before planting a loving kiss on her lips.

"Thank you and

I love you Y/N."

Her eyes softened and watered slightly. She kissed him softly.

"I love you too, Tooru."
