Liliana's p.o.v.
Hanging out with Ivan Mon-dragon? The prince charming in the dream of all girls in school? The man most girls discuss actually kissed the top of my head, cupped my cheek and whispered laters baby in my ears? Was I day dreaming? I watched with wide eyes as he walked out of the hall.
My legs felt as if they were glued to the ground. I couldn't move or maybe I didn't want to move. I wasn't sure. I felt moving will wake me from my glorious dream and I didn't want to wake up. "Lilly. Ummm lilly? What just happened?" I turned my head only to look at the surprised face of Maddie.
"You saw that? You saw that right?" I asked her hoping it wasn't actually a silly dream. "Yeah. Everyone saw that. That was a total blast. You are going to be the headline of every magazine and newspaper tomorrow since people were actually taking pictures of him before he did that."
"So it wasn't a dream? It wasn't a dream. It wasn't a dream." I said grabbing her shoulders and shaking her. "Of course it wasn't a dream if you think it was one." She said. Violet rushed to us saying, "Ivan Mon-dragon just kissed you. Are you secretly dating him?"
"I'm not secretly dating him. And I won't say it was a kiss. I'm not even his friend and ......" I trailed off as Violet cut in. "Save it. It was a kiss to me. And I bet you are going to be the girl everyone is jealous of, a friend or not. And that doesn't look like just a kiss to me." Then she gasp, "or are you the girl he has been secretly admiring?"
"Don't be ridiculous. I'm just a shy graduate with only a degree." Ivan must have many I supposed. He is good looking and smart. I guess he was an excellent guy in school. "You are great. A graduate and will soon start working. What will a girl ever wish for again? Except dreams to come true like dating Ivan." Vi said.
Actually, she made sense. What else will I wish for again. My dream to be a graduate has come true and Ivan is now my friend, I guess. He has even kissed my head which clearly shows he likes me even though I don't know how.
"Actually, you are right. I'm so glad to have you guys." Hugging them, we all got out of the hall. Brother in law and Gianna were taking pictures with my colleagues. Actually, two wishes of my colleagues came true today. Meeting Kelvin Wigglesworth and Ivan Mon-dragon.
"Hi guys." Rose said walking towards us with coffee in her hands. "Hey. Nice presentation today. It was a total blast." Actually, Madd doesn't really like her and she doesn't either. She says she is full of herself and she's a talker. So I decided to do the talking instead of her before she blows her off. And Vi doesn't really like talking. She prefers to be glued to her phone. Probably reading.
"Thanks Liliana. I was just leaving and I decided to come check you guys out. You looking good in that dress of yours." That was the sixth complement I was receiving on this dress.
"And I saw you with Mr. Ivan Mon-dragon. Girl, you've gotten what every girl wanted. I'm so jealous of you right now. I was doing whatever I could to get his attention on stage today." Here we go. Ever since Ivan kissed my head, everyone is talking about it. I guess Madd was right when she said I was going to be the cover of newspapers and magazines. "But Mr. Ivan Mon-dragon was looking at you on stage today."
"You think? Then I must try to be friends with him. He is so disciplined and so serious. I also deserve the respect people give him. And there would be no doubt he wants me. I'm pretty." Madd cleared her throat and rolled her eyes as she stood in front of Rose.
"So bad he doesn't want you. He would have approached you instead and not my stunning girl here. You know what, Lilly is dating Ivan now. He personally asked her to be his girlfriend. How sweet. I guess the looks you feel so good about couldn't earn you what you wanted this time." Madd said grabbing my hand and continued, "We need to leave since Ivan wants the three of us over for dinner tonight. We can't wait. And please, don't be jealous. Whatever you do, he likes Lilly." She smiled at her pulling me to the car.
