Lilliana's p.o.v.

Immediately Mr. Jaden set foot outside, we spontaneously closed our books. I rushed to my two Bffs, Maddie and Violet. "We are so partying tonight." I said as we all screamed "aaaaaa" on top of out voices. You could hear students voices from our class down to the hallways. Oh my gosh! I can't believe today is our last day in school. Monday will be our graduation. I couldn't believe after years of hardworking and toil, we were now official graduates.

"Guys, let's go to my apartment. I called brother in law and my sister is bringing her kids over so we can play with them. After that, we can convince him to take us shopping. I'm his favourite Sister in law. After all, he is Kelvin Wigglesworth and we are gonna spend his money tonight."

We headed straight out of school compound. With excitement, I wanted to cross the road to the other side just to buy ice cream when I heard the honk of a car. I looked at my right only to see the car heading right for me. It halted right in front of me and I sank to the ground in panic. I felt shaken and my lips quivered.

Immediately, Maddie and Violet rushed towards me, helping me up. I stood up slowly and my gaze rested on the highly tinted glass. It was as if someone was looking at me. I couldn't get my eyes off even though nothing was visible to me. All I could see was black but I was pretty sure someone was ogling at me.

My gaze was still on the glass when my friends helped me to the front of the school. A good looking man came out with a first aid kit and handed it to Violet. Maddie stood up and started shouting on the man:

"How dare you try to use your car to hit Lilly? Do you think you are in a luxury car so you could do whatever you want? Let me tell you this. The next time you try to use your car to hit someone, I pray you get arrested. How is that?"

She kept talking to the guy when the back glass of the car scrolled down a little bit. I could see beautiful eyes staring right at me. I knew it. Someone was behind those tinted glass and was looking right at me. He had a black or brown hair, I couldn't tell but I was sure they were beautiful since they sparkled when sun ray hit it.

I couldn't see the person clear enough since the glass was rolled down only to an eye level. But I could admit his eyes alone were just bright as the star. They were so beautiful. Maddie noticed the opening of the glass and said, "so someone is in the car and he didn't even bother to come see my friend. What is wrong with some rich people nowadays? You go around hurting people but yet you don't bother helping them. Well we are all human beings and we are also wealthy. Shame on you. What do you have to say for this bad attitude?"

I grabbed the hem of her dress and tugged on it. "Lilly, wait and let me teach this guy a lesson of his life. Well, if you go back to your car, tell the person inside to show respect to people. It doesn't matter if he is rich or not. We are also rich but we show a lot of respect. Or is it because he wasn't brought up well or what?"

"Maddie, stop it. Please. He didn't use his car to hit me. I crossed the road by mistake without looking left nor right. It was partly my fault and besides, we should be thankful he even came to apologise. Some people won't. Please forgive my friend." I said still looking at the man in the car. The good looking man apologized one more time and left.

The glass rolled up but I couldn't stop looking. I knew the man inside was still looking at me. It was as if we were attracted to each other. Then, the car started moving. I wanted to stand and stop it from moving but I couldn't.

I stared until the car was out of sight. "Lilly." Maddie shouted my name. My eyes snap up to her. "What." I whispered. "You've been staring at the car for like forever now and I called you a thousand times."
