Chapter 6

Ivan's p.o.v.

I whirled around on my bed hearing my name being mentioned several times. I peered at the diamond clock on the nightstand beside my bed. It was 4:00am and too early to wake up. "Ivan wake up." I opened my eyes to see the laughing face of Raymond with his laptop. Not this again. He always wakes me up to see foolish stuffs on the media.

"Raymond what is it this time?" Sitting on my bed and pressing my hand on my forehead, Raymond took the small space I offered him on my bed. "You have asked a good question but I would like to assure you that in the next two or three hours or even now as we are talking, you will have lots of explanations to do to the media, our oldies and most of all Faye and her family."

"Go straight to the point. What are you talking about?" He turned the laptop to me so I could read what was clearly written there together with the picture in which I was kissing Lilly's head.
"Years ago, we thought Ivan Mon-dragon was dating Faye Rodriguez and will get married to her but guess we were wrong. No! No! No! I didn't think about that. What is this? I looked at the laptop again and anger rushed through me. Why is the media so annoying? Without thinking, I pushed the laptop to the ground so hard that the poor thing shattered into tiny pieces. Raymond rushed to his laptop bending over and looking at me sourly.

"What is this Ivan? Why did you smash my laptop without thinking? This one is my favourite. And where from that kind of anger? You don't really show your expressions even when you are angry. But what you did clearly showed you are angry. Are you taking after dad? His awful anger. I wonder how Mom deals with him. And for your information, you are going to organise a grand funeral for my laptop."

"If that's what you wish for. You can invite all your friends to the funeral if you want. The money is there and how to spend it is now the problem. I will order another one for you today." My dad has a very awful anger that when he is angry, he decides without thinking. I'm glad I didn't take after him. Even though Raymond always says I took a little from him.

       "It has important documents" he said. As if he has anything important to do in life.

"Whatever. Get it before I change my mind." With that, I headed straight into the bathroom turning on the shower at its coldest pace and going under it. The media is just so lame.

I'm not saying this because I'm afraid of anyone. I'm so angry they might....no they will waste my time trying to ask me questions that will make me angry at the end. The media is used to asking foolish questions. And moreover they are going to disturb Lilly.

Finally dressing into my suit which I hate to wear so much because I feel like a prisoner inside but ofcourse needed to be presentable as wealthy, well known and respected, and disciplined man, I headed downstairs.

Romeo was already waiting downstairs for me since I called him earlier. "Good morning boss." He uttered yawning. He didn't get enough sleep last night. I texted him to take care of something for me and I called him early this morning to.

"Good morning. Make sure you get some sleep during the day." I like Romeo. We are close because he is kind, loyal and respectful. I didn't want him to get sick or something. Human beings need time to rest. I may not smile, say sorry or beg you but I'm not heartless. "I'm okay boss."
