Beaches are some of the calmest places in the world when they want to be. They just relax you in a way that some places can't. Especially when it's dark. Especially when you're alone. When the moon sits right above the water in its' symmetrical stance. You hear nothing but soft waves and the warm sand melting underneath your feet like it's the only thing they have a connection with.

At least that's what Ochaco Uraraka thought.

She loved going to the beach at night. It brought her serenity and peace. No one was outside at 2am. They're were a couple of drunk stragglers at the nearby restaurants, but they were farther away since she had walked quite a bit.

I wish, she thought. I wish I could share this with someone.

Though Ochaco would never admit it, she was the biggest romantic and every time she was alone, she'd wish she had someone she loved standing by her side. Someone who she knew loved her in return. They didn't even need to talk. Their presence alone would be enough for her. Just feeling their warmth, their scent.

She walked farther along with beach with her orange boots and headphones on her ears. She played the songs that she knew would make her feel more alone, but the atmosphere called for it. Ochaco kept going until her calves felt sore from the sand's pull and decided to sit down. It was February 1st so it was quite cold outside, but she really wasn't bothered by it. She pulled her fluffy pink beanie over her head. She left her favorite matching mittens at home, but she didn't want them to get dirty. She had on three jackets and some thick sweatpants, and only changed her shoes once she arrived at the beach. The cool air soothed her and the wind pecked her face.

Suddenly she heard panting.

Not so soothing, so cringed.

She dared her eyes in the direction hoping it wasn't what she thought it was, and too her relief, it was just a late night runner. Or jogger? Honestly he seemed to be struggling.

She peered her eyes a little closer to see the dark figure holding his side and teetering off the right.

She was a little weary since it was literally 2 in the morning and it could just be some other drunk about to spill his dinner into the water, but the hero in her got the best of her. She'd been a certified hero for a little over 3 years now. Ochaco had graduated a couple months ago from UA and was now out and about doing hero work.

"Sir? Sir, are you alright?", she called standing up.

The man keep coming and the light of the moon was starting to bring out more definition in the shadow. He was blonde and built. He was still staggering across the water, when he suddenly hit the sand. He began to cough, and Ochaco saw a dark liquid spray out of his mouth when he did. He was holding his side still which seemed to have the same dark liquid.

Oh no, she thought.

She quickly sprinted over the the man who began to look more and more familiar. That spikey hair and red crimson eyes.

"B-Bakugo? How'd-", Ochaco panicked then paused. She took a deep breath. There was no time for pointless questions.

"Can you stand?", she asked.

"Move...move out my way.", Bakugo slurred.

"No! Where is the villain?!", Ochaco demanded.

Bakugo shook his head and turned to look into the direction he came from.

"We have to get out of here.", he winced.

Ochaco tried to peer into the direction that her blonde classmate looked at, but she couldn't see far. What she could see was just more beach just how it always was. She was never truly close to Bakugo, but she knew anyone who could leave him in this state had to be someone she definitely had no business trying to take on.
