Bakugo opened the door for Uraraka but she didn't want to come out.
"It's cold outside!"
"That's why I'm trying to take you inside!", he grumbled. "You're so stubborn."
"I know *hiccup* you're not talking to me.", she said her eyes still closed.
Bakugo cut his eyes and leaned over her in the car. Her eyes opened slightly and he was in a very awkward position for her. She still wasn't in the mindset to acknowledge it, though.
He didn't say anything and clicked her seatbelt. He lifted her up out of the car and closed the door. Not too loudly because he still didn't want anyone to see the state she was in.
He held his key tag near the front entrance and walked into the elevator toward his apartment room. As soon as it opened he peaked down both hallways to see if anyone was coming.
Coast is clear, he thought.
He walked quickly toward his door and unlocked it. She slumped off of him the minute he opened the door with a soft thud.
"I'm never apologizing to anyone ever again.", he mumbled. "Uraraka?"
Nothing.
"Uraraka.", he said a bit louder.
Nothing. He looked down and examined that the girl was officially out cold. He groaned but continued to help the girl out. Anyone else would've been a lost cause that's for sure.
He carried her bridal style to his couch and laid her there. Even through all the chaos he felt like he'd been through tonight with this girl, he felt sort of happy to still spend any time with her at all.
He sat on his couch next to her feeling conflicted.
I don't like...anyone. I can't like anyone. Shark face is just trying to tick me off.
Ba-dink.
He grabbed his phone out of his pocket to see an image attachment from Kirishima.
He opened his phone to see a picture of himself standing in front of a big screen outside. Based on the hero outfit he had on, it had to be the first week of their third year. He was...smiling?
💥 - wth is this? U stalking me?
🪨- look at the screen!
Bakugo zoomed up on his phone to see what on Earth this kid was talking about. He then immediately saw Uraraka pinning a "villian" down for training on the screen he was smiling at. He remembered that day. She was against three of her classmates by herself and she had managed to take down all of them, two without using her quirk. He hadn't seen her fight alone in a while, and he was amazed.
I wasn't supposed to show it on my face though, he thought slightly embarrassed.
💥-okay?
🪨- you can't tell me you don't like her
💥-we were told to look at the screen
🪨-you were smiling
💥-I always smile
🪨-big cap
💥- idk what point you're trying to make
🪨- wait wait I got more then
Kirishima sent 10 more photos of Bakugo staring at Uraraka subliminally. The one that stood out to him the most though was when Bakugo got hurt during a day watch. Uraraka was cleaning a scratch on his bicep with a redness in her cheeks, but she was focused. Bakugo was looking at her while she wasn't looking and he had on an undeniable face of adornment.
