"Ahh! This is so cool!", she shrieked.
Uraraka had her arms wrapped around Bakugo's waist as he went through the streets.
They stopped at a red light and all Bakugo heard was laughing.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing, nothing! I've just never rode with anybody else!", she said.
"Now you have.", he said with a small smile.
She pressed a little harder onto him once the light turned green. She put her head on his back and smiled.
This was everything she dreamed of from a boy. She knew they weren't in a relationship, but when she walked those lonely nights on the beach, she thought of moments like this.
The beautiful street lights of Tokyo twinkling on every corner. The dirty snow on the ground still reflected off of the city lights. The salty air. Her arms wrapped around someone she cared about and her feeling his breathing while she laid her face on his back. They weren't talking, but his presence was enough. His smell.
Though, she didn't think it would be Bakugo. A pleasant yet explosive surprise. She was happy. So happy. She didn't want this to end.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
Suddenly, they came to a slow halt and Uraraka assumed it was a red light. She loosened her arms slightly and was about to make a joke when she felt his back move a little too much.
"Are-are you cold?", she asked looking up.
She then saw a tear fall from his face and land on her coat.
"Bakugo? What's wrong?", she panicked.
He didn't say anything, he just kept shaking.
He began to cough and exhale more than inhale.
She quickly looked at the direction he was looking at and it clicked in her mind why the air smelled salty in the first place.
They were right across the street from the beach. Specifically, it looked like the place Uraraka found him at that day.
"Bakugo, pull over. It's alright. It's okay.", she said holding on to his arm.
"I....He...", he said his voice shaking.
A car started to honk because the light had turned green. Uraraka looked over Bakugo's shoulders and turned on the hazards. She waved at the cars to go around.
Bakugo suddenly put his hand on his mouth and his head.
"I'm gonna....be sick.", he mumbled getting off the bike and walking toward the water.
Uraraka immediately scooted forward and parked the bike wherever she could. Lucky for her it was night, so she wouldn't have to worry about getting towed. That was the furthest thing from her mind right now away, but still.
"Bakugo! Bakugo!", Uraraka called running on the sand. "Ah-ow.."
A broken glass bottle had grazed her ankle but she didn't stop for more than a second. Bakugo was sitting next to the water with his arms crossed on his knees with sweat dripping down his face. It caused her to worry even more since it was 30 degrees outside.
"Why.....why do I still.....feel like this?", he said clenching his teeth.
Uraraka stood behind him and stopped.
"It's the same thing...every. single. year. Every day."
Uraraka put her hand on his back with caused him to flinch.
