Bakugo ran down the street and peered around the next corner to see the suspicious figure lurking. Right around the corner was Uraraka's street. He didn't care at this point though, because some strange guy was looking around like he was trying to hide something. The closer he got, the more familiar he looked. He squinted his eyes then narrowed them.
It's that creep from the other day, he thought. I can't believe he's still around here.
Bakugo recognized the man from the day Uraraka was drunk off the strawberry drink. He didn't leave her home alone when she wasn't sober, but he still didn't want her near him when she was. He called the police and requested for backup, so when he took him down, he could send him off and be on his way.
(Idk if you guys remember what Uraraka's apartment looks like but on the fandom page, it's a three story apartment building with open hallways. I hope that sorta helps the visual, but if not, just Google it lol. It won't let me put a link.)
The man then suddenly began to jog near Uraraka's apartment and run up the stairs. That was enough for Bakugo to began bolting. Even with everything in his hands, he began to sprint toward the man who began to now walk near Uraraka's doorstep. His eyes widened when he saw him pull a kitchen knife from his pocket.
I know she can defend herself against this idiot just fine, he thought. But why let her deal with that when I already see what's gonna happen. One less problem for her. Obviously.
Bakugo didn't use his quirk, so the man was certainly surprised to see two bags, a weird green gauntlet and some flowers when he turned around to look one last time. The man looked around, shrugged his shoulders and turn around with a yelp when the blonde boy pounced on him down the hallway.
"What the h*ll do you think you're doing?", Bakugo sneered. "Doesn't look like you have business over here."
"Ugh, it's you.", the man growled. "You're her fake stupid boyfriend, aren't you. Break up with Ochaco! She's mine! Mine!"
Bakugo tightened his grip on the man's shoulders to pin him down.
"I don't know what you're talking about, man. You're going to prison, let's go."
"Let go of me!", he hissed. "You're just jealous of the relationship Ochaco and I have. You'll never be with her! Never! Ochaco be all mine forever and ever! No one else will have Ochaco!"
Bakugo crackled his hand lightly so the man would feel a slight burn which caused the man to wince.
"Be respectful. You don't use the first name of a stranger. It's rude."
"We're LOVERS!", he yelped.
"You're a stalker.", Bakugo scoffed. "Now let's go."
"No!", he mumbled. Suddenly, Bakugo's right leg felt weightless and he looked down to see it levitating. He looked back up to the man in dismay and he swiped the knife towards Bakugo's face.
Bakugo jumped back and held his cheek to feel a trickle of blood.
It only grazed me, but I'm bleeding. Can't let that get me again, he thought.
"See! See! We were meant to be together, we have similar quirks.", he cried salivating over his knife. "We're destined to be husband and wife. She just doesn't realize that she loves me yet. But it's inevitable! She'd never go with some brute like you! You only hurt people with your power! It's a good thing that Diversion guy knocked you down to size! You deserved it! You deserved it for hurting my wife Ochaco! You don't deserve Ochaco. She's mine! I'll make sure no one touches her gorgeous dripping body besides me! You"-
Bakugo punched him in the face in a half second. He breathed in and out with a pale face. The second he brought up Diversion, his head began to spin and he felt nauseous. Then he began to insult Uraraka and that made it worse.
"You might have similar quirks, but she could run miles around you in seconds. Don't confuse that fact.", he bellowed trying to hide the shake in his voice.
"You broke my nose! Psycho! Killer!", the man whimpered and jumped up.
He began jumped from the side of the building and hobbled down the street. Fortunately, Bakugo saw the police car at the corner of his eye when the man was giving his speech. His leg begun to stop levitating, probably because the distance put between them. Bakugo put his arms on the ledge of the building and watched the man blindly run into the cops, where three of them tackled him.
Guess I'm not the only one with crazed fans..
"I'm Jojo Toga, and you won't get away with this!", he yelled.
He's must be related to that psycho. No wonder. He's gonna get locked up just like her, he thought rolling his eyes.
The police waved their hands signaling that they could take it from here.
Bakugo sighed and rubbed his cheek again wiping his blood on his shirt.
Ugh, now I really gotta get home, he thought picking up the flowers that were sort of disheveled from running. Still pretty though.
He was about to start walking away when he heard the door behind him open. He froze at the girls voice.
"Bakugo!?", she asked in almost disbelief. "Oh my gosh, what are you doing here?"
Bakugo turned around slowly with a 'caught' expression.
"Y-you're face! Are you okay? What happened?", she said jogging up to him and holding his face on the other, non bloody side. "Was there a fight nearby? You could've called me!"
"I, uh"-
"Doesn't matter. Come inside, we have to clean that. And you wiped it on your clothes, my gosh. These are yours I assume?", she chattered grabbing his bags. "It's been three days and you already got hurt. Hey, what are those for?"
Bakugo blinked slowly holding onto the flowers. He noticed her hair was wet and he assumed she just got out of the shower. Probably why she didn't hear any of the commotion outside.
"For you."
"For-for me?"
"Uh, from, from the Nighteye agency... for you...my bad. They got kinda damaged on the way here."
"Oh!", she smiled with unoticable disappointment. "That's so sweet of them. Thank you for delivering them for me, I appreciate it! They look perfectly perfect to me. Come inside, come on. It's gonna get infected at this rate."
"I know how to clean myself..", he mumbled walking through the door.
He looked around the room and actually took in the scenery. Before, he was just trying to get in and out as soon as possible. He didn't get a chance to see what her home looked like. It was rather small, but it was cozy. It seemed she'd really turn the place into her own. Her checks from her agency must've been rolling her the dough.
"Nice place.", he said.
"T-thanks!", she stammered. "Since my parents aren't here as often, they told me I could decorate the place anyway I want!"
Bakugo nodded his head and sat down where she beckoned. She put on her bunny hair towel and began to unpack her first aid kit.
"I'm getting deja vu, are you?", she giggled.
