Bakugo walked in the bathroom and mumbled about how girly it was. It smelled like baby powder and rose petals. It was pink. Everywhere. Pink and white and baby lavender. He wasn't necessarily flustered about being in a girls bathroom even though it was Uraraka's. His mom forced him to learn everything he didn't care about whether he wanted to listen or not when it came to women, so he wasn't a stranger to girl related things.
Not that he was purposely trying to snoop, but the bathroom cabinet underneath was already open where the wash rags must've been kept. As he was about to close it, he noticed a small toolbox was in the corner of the cabinet. He rolled his eyes and scoffed at why on earth the toolbox would be under the bathroom sink. He looked at the knob and the shower and back at the toolbox.
What if I just....
45 MINUTES LATER.
Ochaco had used a body cleaning wipe to change her clothes since she had just showered not too long ago. She changed her clothes into a thick creme orange sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
"Well you sure took your time. I thought girls were supposed to take forever in the bathroom.", she joked sticking out her tongue. "Now you smell like me, haha."
"I was fixing your shower.", he said drying his hair with the towel.
"What? Really?", she said exasperated.
"Well, at least the knob. The hot and cold water thing might just be a pipe problem and that means I'd have to go outside, but you don't gotta do your whole 5 step process to turn on your water anymore."
She looked at him with bewilderment and joy. Mostly joy. His hair being wet definitely added to that.
"That's crazy, thank you! I really really appreciate it! I had no idea you were such a handy man.", she smiled retreating to the bathroom to look at her fixed knob.
"I do a lot of my own repairs because I know how I want things to be done. Plain and simple."
"Sounds like you.", she snickered. "Im guessing that's what your bag is for?"
She pointed at the bag she placed on her kitchen table and he nodded.
"Yeah, my dumb gauntlet broke earlier when I was training because I got your mess"-
He began to turn pink completely forgetting about that message and Uraraka seemed to catch on what he was talking about causing her to gain the same shade. She quickly wanted to turn the subject to something else because there's no way she could explain it. She could imagine it in her head now. It would go something like-
'Hey, so I wanted to text you for days and I got so frustrated I threw my phone and it hit my most recent emojis which were recent in the first place because I was brainstorming on what I should talk to you about. You also just so happen to be pinned at the top of my message list so it went to you first.'
I think I'll pass.
"Hey!! I uh, I got a Switch! You wanna play?", she squeaked.
"You got a Nintendo Switch?"
"Yep! I got the newest version too!", she haughted her ears fuming with pride.
"Sick.", he said said looking around her old TV. "Uh, where is it?"
Oh, crap.
In a quick brain spasm trying to change the subject, she had brought another problem. She only had two
TVs she had in her house. A large, VERY heavy one from probably the early 2000s that she had painted to make it look 'retro'. The other was a new HD flatscreen that she won two years ago in a raffle....that was set up in her room.
