VIBING WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS;
TW: mention of cannibalism, transphobia
ik that seems confusing but its really not too bad
but for safety :)
"Always with the skateboarding. Haven't you learned to stay away from that stuff?" He asked. His voice was deep and demanding, something needed in the police force.
Especially if you were the head of it.
"I don't take advice from idiots, sorry." Y/n hissed making his father glare at him through the rear-view mirror.
"You can't possibly still be mad about your brother." He scoffed. His son's eye twitched in annoyance.
"I do not have a brother. I have a sister."
"Are you still on about that?" He asked. As his father put the blinker on he could see the expensive police station around the corner.
He hated it and everything it brought with it.
"Are you still an alcoholic?" He seethed. The older male just laughed humourlessly and pulled into the parking lot. He soon opened the door for his son and led him into the building quickly.
F/n threw him into a cell, the cold floor sending chills up his spine. He looked down at the boy and smirked before slamming the door closed.
Y/n looked around, noticing other people in the cell. "Oh. Hey Carl."

The next morning wasn't all that different from others. He woke up uncomfortably and shifted in his bed. This bed was, of course, much more uncomfortable than the one he had at home.
He went to rub his eyes as a natural instinct in the morning but was then reminded of the metal restraints. Instead, he slowly sat up, blinking slowly.
The odd thing was, he could feel a shallow breath in front of him. His eyes snapped open at the new sound. His eyes gazed into the man that was in the other cell.
"O-Oh hey, Bob. Whatcha doing there?" he asked hesitantly moving back. The man — known as Bob —looked the younger boy up and down before licking his lips. "I'm guessing you're in for..."
"Eating a couple more people, no biggie," he teased. Y/n's eyes widened in surprise and he sat back onto his bed, hoping the cell walls wouldn't break.
"Yo!" A police officer called. She became friends with the boy the first time his Dad brought him in. She never really liked his father, but she excited when he brought in a new face.
A little too excited.
But y/n put it off as her making him feel welcome. Even if it was a police station.
"Your Dad wants you," she said. His face dropped and he groaned in displeasure. "Sorry." she smiled sympathetically and walked into the cell to bring him out.
"Nah, it's alright. I don't know how you deal with him every day." he laughed dryly and she blushed slightly at the compliment.
"I try to avoid him as much as I can," she said, making him laugh.
"Yeah, I know a thing or two about that."
"Let's go," a voice commanded behind them. All the police officers in the room, including his friend, seemed to jump into place when they heard his voice.
You groaned but complied when he dragged you away.
"Any chance of you letting me out of these handcuffs?" he asked but there was no reply. "I'll take that as a no."
"I got a call earlier today," his father started. He ceased his hand from the boy's collar, letting him stand upright as he climbed the stairs. "There are apparently skaters dressing up in costumes down on an island."
"And you think it's my friends?" he inquired. His father shoved open the doors to the helipad.
"Do I have any reason not to?"
"Do you have any reason?"
"I'm bringing you with me out of the kindness of my heart—!" he exclaimed but was cut off when the boy snorted with laughter.
"Oh, was that not a joke?"
"As I was saying," he said through grit teeth. "I am bringing you because I want to. Not because I have to."
"Oh, gee thanks. I'm so flattered." y/n said dramatically. He saw the old man sigh with discontent and walk faster to the helicopter. He ushered for his son to come and he did so.
The only reason y/n wanted to go was because of the small chance it really was Reki and Langa. But he doubted it.
