VIBING WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS;

Langa rode his bike down to S. On his way there he passed by Reki's house and realized that Reki had gone to S. He sped up past the speed limit and made his way there faster.

But when he got there, he could see many people. But none were Reki.

I'm tired of writing skating beefs, I'm not writing joe vs langa sry but no :D

You had stopped showing up less and less as well. Not only because of Reki. Well, mostly because of Reki and Langa. But now you spent most of your days at the hospital.

The interaction with your father had made you remember your sister's condition. You scolded yourself for not seeing her as much since Langa came into your life.

Sometimes Langa and his mom wouldn't even see you come home. Sometimes you didn't come home. He began to worry (but his mom worried more).

When you lightly opened the door to your sister's room, you noticed someone already inside.

"Hey, babe."

Thats a new one.

"It's getting kinda hard without you."

You opened the door a bit more, making it creak. She turned her head around to see you. When you locked gazes your brows furrowed in confusion.

Nevertheless, you set the flowers down that were surrounded in many others you had brought her. "Uh...Who are you?"

"She didn't...She didn't tell you?" the woman asked and you shook your head. She let out a small laugh and gripped your sister's hand tighter.

"I'm her girlfriend. You are?"

"I'm her, uh, brother..." your voice trailed off as you examined her. "Guess we both turned out exactly how our parents didn't want us," you said and she laughed dryly. "But wait that doesn't make sense...She transitioned and then we moved to Japan. How did you..."

"I knew her before she transitioned." she said and your lips formed a little 'o' shape. "It was new and if I'm being honest, a little weird for both of us. But I love her."

"Wow...You're already at the 'I love you' stage, huh?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm y/n."

"Danielle. Nice to finally meet you, y/n."

Joe rushed into the hospital as he carried Cherry in his arms. He seemed really banged up. Your face twisted in confusion as the nurses and doctors took Cherry away.

Joe let out a loud groan in frustration and sat himself down in the waiting room chairs.

"Joe?" you called. He looked up, anger evident on his face. But it softened slightly when he saw you. You sat down next to him and hesitantly pat his shoulder. "What happened?"

"Adam," he snarled.

"Ah...I should've expected that...."

"What're you doing here?" he asked, now looking you in the eyes but you turned away. Danielle came out of the room in a hurry.

"Everything alright?"

"Yep. It's fine." you dismissed quickly. "Everything great!"

She narrowed her eyes at you and walked closer. She held out her hand for Joe to shake and he took it. He looked down, turning her hand around in his. "Nice ring."

"Thanks. I'm engaged. To his sister, actually." she smiled and motioned to you.

"Ahem, what?!" You cried.

"You have a sister?" Joe asked with a brow raised. You sighed, leaning back into the chair.

"Yeah. Didn't know she was engaged though — She was 18 when we left! How the hell did you get engaged?!"

"It was kinda a spur of the moment thing. We weren't actually going to go through with it for a few years. It was more of a promise ring than anything." she explained and you let out a small breath of relief.

That damn secret keeper, you thought.

"Kojiro-san?" a doctor asked and Joe immediately stood to his feet. "Sakurayashiki-san will be fine. Just a broken arm."

"Thank god."

"Did you really ditch the hospital?" Joe asked behind the counter of his restaurant.

"It was only a scratch."

"Sorry, Joe. I tried to stop him but he's surprisingly strong when he has a broken arm." you sighed in defeat.

"It's a scratch."

"Broken arm." Joe urged.

"Scratch!"

"Broken arm!"

"Why haven't I gone home yet?" you groaned and slid down the seat.
