I'm doing this because this scene is iconic
Langa headed home first. I wanted to take the long way back home but Mrs. Kyan stopped me before I left to give me an umbrella.
Once I got back...home? I guess I should call it that. I've been living here for a week or two already.
Langa and his mom were talking about who knows what. I grabbed a plate and some of the leftovers they were eating before joining them at the table.
"But neither of you are in the wrong." she smiled sympathetically. She winked at me and I furrowed my brows in confusion.
Oh...they're talking about Reki.
"No," Langa mumbled. "It's my fault for breaking our promise."
"I seriously need to be caught up to date with this shit," I muttered before stuffing a ball of rice in my mouth.
"I think it's best if you were honest with your feelings."
"Honest..."
"You like that person, right?" she added. My eyes widened as I choked on my rice. I hit my chest aggressively, almost stabbing myself with the chopsticks.
"Huh?!" Langa shreiked. "Well...yeah."
DUDE WHAT THE FUCK I KNEW YOU WERE BLUNT BUT NOT THAT BLUNT
STUPID FUCKING RICE I CAN'T TALK CUZ IM CHOKING AND NO ONE CARES
"Why don't you honestly relay your emotions?" she asked and he looked away in embarrassment.
IM DYING OVER HERE, YOU ASSHOLES
"No way. That's too embarrassing," he replied.
"You have to act on it...
if you really care about her!"
"Her?"
"Huh?"
"HUH?!"
"NOT EVEN A GLASS OF WATER?!" I yelled as I finally regained air. "JEEZ! I COULDA DIED!"
