There are always a lot of things to do during your free time. It doesn't need to have a major complex elements and parts that are too fancy especially when it's gonna be spent simply in the warm premise of your own home. It was the familiar comfort that you only needed.

And that's exactly what Heeseung thought as he laid his head on top of your chest, silently listening to the steady rhythm of the pounding of your heart whilst you draw invisible circles on his clothed back.

He sighed in content and nuzzled his face further to your skin, basking and inhaling your familiar scent that clouded his senses that very moment.

It was like a trip to a memory lane.

He's long familiarized himself with you as you did him that he's all well aware of you, as a whole. The little gestures at most like the little taps of the pad of your fingers landing on his skin occasionally as you ran circles on his back, the little hitch of your breath when you would feel him nuzzle himself closer to you and the unconscious hum that you'd do every once in a while to break the silent streak; Heeseung was all aware of them all, and they're all mere snippets from his vast observation.

The faint sound of the rain pouring outside of your home remained as another background. Sometimes its noise would fade away into nothingness when you focus your eyes and attention onto something, wholeheartedly giving it your undivided focus and the sound of the pouring rain out would be nothing but a mere sound that would simply pass both your ears.

However it still brought you a sense of comfort, perhaps a little too much of your inclination towards the weather then when you were young continued even now that you've grown. Another thing that you garnered from your childhood.

“Should I start making breakfast now?” You softly asked, breaking the serene atmosphere as Heeseung promptly raised his head to look at you in the eye, muttering, “Later,” before going back to snuggle against your chest.

You sighed. It was a lazy day, an understatement for the both of you especially to the raven haired male but the clock that signified the time reminded you that you and Heeseung had yet to eat your breakfast for the day.

You tapped his shoulders, gently pushing him away as he groaned in protest, deciding to lock you in his embrace and against the mattress by wrapping his arms tight around your waist, his legs coming to slither in between yours and entangling them together like his usual defense mechanism against your attempt to pry him off.

Of course, going out of Heeseung’s embrace would be a completely hard thing as you have been through the same scenario a plenty of times, more than you could ever count. How many times have you succeeded? A couple or thrice were your best guesses since the male could be very hellbent once he wants to attain his goals.

And that thought was once again proven when you remained stiff underneath his limbs, trapped like a prey in the tentacles of an octopus.

You pinched the skin in the back of his nape before leaning down to blow air in his ear, one thing that you knew would have him squirming on his spot as you hoped for that to loosen the grip he has against you.

Only that it didn't do much except the little whine of protest that he had let out. You mentally cussed.

“But it's already 9:45 am,” Heeseung nodded his head sideways, stubbornly staying in his position as you talked. “We need to eat.”

The male raised his head, knitting his brows and sticking his tongue out. “Don’t want to. Later, ’m too lazy to leave and you're warm and soft andㅡ”

“But we've been cuddling for hours!”

“And I don't mind cuddling some more.” He poked your sides before switching your position. Heeseung raised himself up further on the pillows before tugging you close to his chest, resuming the position you had earlier except that you were snuggling against him now. He landed a kiss to your forehead promising, “I’ll cook if I have to, just give me another hour and a half to do this.”

And knowing all too well that he wouldn't let you go regardless of anything, you simply nodded and wrapped your right arm around his waist, planting a kiss on his open left palm that was caressing your hair.

“Alright, an hour and a half and we'll get up.”

As stupid as it was, you knew more than to trust Heeseung and his bargains. His plans of cooking you both breakfast fell right directly on the drainage the moment you smelled something burnt when you went to enter the large size kitchen space after fixing your bed.

The black haired suspect stood beside the stove, the pan he had used to cook omelette with was thrown haphazardly on the sink beside him, a plate of crispy fried food was set on a white ceramic plate in front of him over the counter, his palms were placed over his hips as he stood rigid.

“So, what's for breakfast?” You feigned ignorance to his unsuccessful try, deciding to tease him further by grabbing two plates and a pair of utensils from the cupboard and laying them each on the table, even going as far as to fetch a jug of orange juice from the fridge and cups from the holder.

You leaned on the table, a smile plastered on your lips as you clasped your hands together in front of you. You raised a brow, “Well?”

Heeseung turned to face you, rubbing a hand to the back of his neck with a sheepish smile, sliding the crispy omelette to hide behind him as he answered with a small voice,

“Take outs?”
