"Yuu! Get out of the shower, you'll be late!", Yoichi yelled from outside of the bathroom.
"It's always the same with that idiot.", Kimizuki sighed.
"Good thing I packed his bags for him, in that case."
"You did what? You know you shouldn't have to, right? Let the bastard run late, see if we care." Yoichi let out a sad chuckle. Kimizuki sighed, resting his arm on the small boy's shoulder. "It was only a matter of time before we went our seperate ways. Sure, for the idiot's it's one of the most prestigious academies in the entirety of this damn country, and no I am not upset about that, but we'll find our way soon."
"You're right. It's always been the five of us, it's gonna be weird without Yuu..." The doorbell rang. "That's probably Shinoa and Mitsu!" Yoichi made his way to open the door, while Kimizuki banged the bathroom door.
"Hey ass, get out of the shower! I'm coming in!" Strange. Normally there would be shouting on the other side, begging him not to come in or to fuck off. Slowly, Kimizuki opened the door. Yuu was sitting down in the shower, most likely deep in thought. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Showering.", he muttered. Kimizuki sighed, taking a seat on the side of the bathtub. "What are you doing?"
"Being your therapist once again. What is it? Are you scared?"
"I'm not scared!", Yuu yelled. He rested his head against the shower wall, nodding. "Yeah. I am. One of the most prestigious colleges, and I got in through pure luck."
"You didn't get in through luck. You got in through a scholarship, you should take pride in that." Yuu chuckled.
"God, I'm not even gonna be able to pay for lunch. It's all gonna be so expensive."
"It's not like you watch what you eat now. If I didn't cook for you guys your diets would consist of only instant ramen."
"Fair."
"Now get out of the shower, Shinoa and Mitsuba are here to wave you off."
"Get the fuck out of the bathroom, then!" Kimizuki finally left, and Yuu could finish up his shower. He glanced at the school uniform, which hung at the door. It was a white uniform, with a red tie. It practically screamed 'trust fund kid'. Yuu sighed, and finished drying himself off so he could pull on the uniform. Giving himself a final pat down and glance in the mirror, he made his way down the stairs for breakfast with his friends. He was met by excitement when he walked in the kitchen.
"Whooo, there he is!", Shinoa yelled.
"Come on, give us a spin!", Mitsuba joined. He gave them a cheeky spin, showing off his uniform.
"God, you preppy fuck. Are you gonna start talking in a posh accent and call us 'darling'?", Shinoa teased him.
"Well the kitchen does smell particularly splendid, innit?", Yuu said as he took a seat.
"Please don't ever do that again.", Yoichi said as he took a sip of his tea. "That was the most cursed thing I've ever heard."
"More cursed than Kimizuki singing musical numbers in the shower?" The guy at the stove shot him a glare.
"I'll burn your damn pancakes, moron."
"Say, Yuu.", Mitsu started as she poured herself a cup of coffee. "It's a Sunday, you have to be at school today?" He nodded.
"Yeah, I need to get settled in my dorm. I wanna try and meet as many people as I can aswell."
"Yuu? Making friends?", Shinoa nudged. "That's less likely than winning the lottery!"
"Oh shut up, you're here aren't you?"
"That's fair.", she giggled. "It'll be weird without you."
"I know. But, it's not like I'm dead. I'll be back every weekend, promise!"
"We'll keep you on that.", Yoichi said. "I'm gonna miss your shouting in the morning. I hope your roommates won't pay too much mind to it!"
"Oh whoa, I haven't even thought of that. I didn't realise I might have roommates. God, I'm gonna be such an outsider."
"Don't worry about that for now, idiot. Just enjoy your breakfast.", Kimizuki said as he placed the pile of pancakes on the table.

Yuu stood at the gates of the campus, suitcase in his left hand and backpack in his right. The sheer size of the building in front of him was overwhelming, to say the least. He hadn't even paid mind to the amount of Ferrari's, Porsche's and Lamborghini's stood in the parking lot. He couldn't even afford to get a second-hand vehicle, he had to share a car with both Kimizuki and Yoichi. Collecting his courage, Yuu made his way through the front gates. He entered the main hall, where he was met with a long table. He was greeted by a teacher.
"Hello dear! Allow me to help you, what year are you in?", she asked him.
"My first year."
"Alright, good, good. You're gonna take the table on the right, and wait in line at the first pillar over there, okay hun? Good luck!"
"Thank you." Yuu did as so, and waited for his turn to register. He took a moment to glance around the main hall. It was giant, which was to be expected, but it was still incredibly intimidating. Everything looked like it was built out of marble, with golden details, statues... Not to mention all the students looked like they owned someone. How was he ever gonna feel at home in a place like this? His attention was caught by the man working the registrations.
"Name?"
"U-Uh, Yuichiro Amane.", Yuu replied.
"Let me have a look in our system...", the man said as he scrolled. "Oh? Interesting. You're the scholarship kid, aren't you? It says right here that your tuition fee has been paid for by the school." Yuu felt all eyes shift towards. If he had any chance of fitting in to begin with, it was now all thrown out the window.
"Y-Yeah, that's me..." The man nodded, pushing a pile of books in his direction, with a small key card on top of the pile.
"These are your workbooks, you'll receive the rest in class. This is your key card, you have room 11037. It's on the 11th floor, the elevators are down the hall. Your roommate has already registered, so he's probably already in there. I'll see you in my class, Mr. Amane." Yuu nodded, grabbing the pile of books and the keycard. The 11th floor? The small home he shared with Yoichi and Kimizuki didn't even have a basement. He pressed the elevator button. When it eventually arrived, he made his way to the floor of his dorm. Thank god there were elevators, if he had to have taken the stairs, he'd been a dead man for sure. Once on the 11th floor, he skimmed the numbers of the rooms, until he eventually found the one labeled '11037'. He fiddled with the key card for a moment, attempting to figure out how on earth the lock worked. The door opened.
"... Are you okay?", the boy asked. God, how embarrassing.
"Y-Yeah! Just got my hands full, that's all." The boy chuckled.
"Just slide the card across the port to unlock the door. You're about to fall over, get in." Yuu nodded, and walked in the room.
To no one's surprise, really, the room was incredibly big. About the size of their living room, to be exact.
"You don't seem to be used to big spaces.", his roommate remarked. The boy sat down on his bed, Yuu placing his books on the other.
"Not really, no... I got in on a scholarship, so all of this is pretty overwhelming."
"A scholarship? Impressive. What's your name?"
"Ah, I'm Yuichiro Amane. But, people mostly call me Yuu."
"Well, nice to meet you, Yuu. My name is Mikaela Shindou. People tend to call me Mika."
"Nice to meet you, too, Mika."
