"Mika. Hey, Mika.", the sweet voice called. It was a voice Mika didn't recognize. This was weird. He was just staring at the ceiling of his bedroom, when all of a sudden, a voice started popping up in his head.

"... I can hear you. Who are you?", he asked. The voice fell silent.

"You squeezed my hand, didn't you? The nurse is telling me it was just a muscle spasm, and that it's common with coma patients... But I know it was you."

What? Nurse? Coma patients? What the hell was going on? Mika wasn't with any nurse, and most certainly not in a coma. Was he dreaming again?

"Can you hear me?", he asked the voice. "What's happening? Who are you?"

"Please, Mika... We're starting week five. I don't want to give up on you, I'm not ready... They're leaving me no choice, though... So please..." The voice cracked. Was it crying? "Wake up... I love you, Mika..."

"Yuu...", another voice said. Was that... Mitsuba?

"I know, he doesn't hear me."

"Come on, let's get you home. The nurses will kick us out any second."

Mika stared in shock at the ceiling of his bedroom. As much of a shock it was to hear a voice in his head, he wasn't expecting to hear Mitsuba's. She adressed the voice, too. Was that the Yuu-chan his father had mentioned?

The blonde grabbed his phone off of the bedside table, and dialed Mitsu's phone.

"Mika? What's up?"

"H-Hey."

"Hi baby. What's the matter? You sound pretty out of it."

"Do you, uh..." Mika rested his hand on his forehead, exhaling a tired sigh. "Do you know someone named Yuu?"

"Mika, this again? You've been blabbering about this guy named Yuu for the last five weeks."

Five weeks...? That's... coincidental.

"I take that as a no, then."

"It was a no three days ago, it's still a no. We don't know anyone named Yuu. Mika, what's happening to you? What's going on?"

Mikaela's head started to hurt. He pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out another sigh.

"I'm... I'm gonna take a walk."

"Mika..."

"I think I should go see Lacus or something."

"Well, he does know everything about you. I'll be here. I love you."

Mika froze. Should he say it back? It would feel like... A lie. It felt forced. The words from the voice, on the other hand... No, the words from Yuu. They felt so genuine.

He... He didn't belong here. Nothing in this world felt right. Yuu doesn't exist. Mika can't remember ever having felt anything romantic towards Mitsuba. Wasn't she a lesbian...?

Even more... He's been acting weird for five weeks. The voi- Yuu, mentioned him being in a comatose state for five weeks.

Wake up.

Mika winced in pain as he sat up. He reached to the back of his head, where he felt a warm liquid run through his fingers.

Wake up.

He glanced at his hand, terror creeping through his veins as the blood trickled down his fingers.

Wake up.
