Yuu woke up to the sound of his alarm blasting. He groaned, snoozing it. Looking to his side, he saw that Mika wasn't there. He probably had an early class to start out with. Yuu yawned, stretching in the process. He checked his phone for any notifications, but there weren't that many. Some Twitter and TikTok notifications, but other than that there weren't any. He threw the covers off of him, and grabbed some clean underwear from his suitcase. While Mika took the time to unpack yesterday, he himself just laid on his bed. He really should unpack soon. He glanced over to Mika's bed, which was neatly made.

"That's not a surprise...", he chuckled. Yesterday was a lot more fun and a lot less stressful than he expected. After they had finished their dinner at McDonalds, they went back to the dorm room. Then, they played UNO for a couple of hours, and Yuu found that Mika really can't handle losing. And he thought Kimizuki was bad. While Mika appeared to be reserved, he could swear like a sailor. He'd called Yuu a whore multiple times, which the ravenette frankly found hilarious. The blonde apologised profusely before they went to sleep, but he just shrugged it off. They only met yesterday, but it felt like they knew eachother for years. He could only hope Mika felt the same way.

Yuu pulled on his uniform, and glanced in the mirror. He really had to grow used to seeing himself in a preppy outfit like this. He did look good, though. Collecting the books he required for his first class, he made his way out of the dorm room and to the elevator. His schedule was weird. He only had two classes today, one from 10AM to 12PM, and one from 4PM to 6PM. So he had a huge gap of nothing in between them. He pressed the button to the 1st floor, and waited for the elevator to go down. He'd only now noticed there was elevator music. He thought that was only the case in movies. Once at the first floor, he pulled out the small map, and searched for his auditorium.

It took a while before he found it, but luckily, he still made it 15 minutes in advance. He took a seat near the back of the auditorium, which, unsurprisingly, was huge. He checked his socials for a minute, until the presence in front of him turned around.

"You seem so relaxed! Aren't you nervous?" Yuu looked up from his phone, his green eyes meeting with dark brown ones.

"No use to being nervous. It won't change anything."

"That's true...", the girl said. "What's your name?"

"Yuichiro Amane. Yours?"

"My name's Akane Hyakuya. Nice to meet you, Yuichiro!"

"Nice to meet you too." His attention shifted to the professor arriving. It was the man who registered Yuu the day before.

"Yo, Mika." The blonde looked up at the origin of the voice, averting his gaze from the fountain. "You pretended you didn't know me yesterday.", Lacus said as he sat down next to him.

"I don't want to spark any questions. If I mentioned you're the brother of my colleague, Yuu would've started asking questions again. I already had to lie to him." The older chuckled.

"Don't want your roommate to find out you work at Ferid's Palace?"

"Shh!", Mika silenced him. "If word goes out, I'm doomed, and I can forget being a doctor. Plus, I'm not too pumped about getting called something dumb like pole boy for the rest of my college days."

"You're ashamed."

"Yeah, ofcourse I am. You would be aswell if you worked for Ferid." Mika glanced at his phone. "Can we talk about something else?" Lacus laughed.

"Fine, fine. How were your first classes? What did you have?"

"Latin and general biology. We haven't seen much yet, but it seems incredibly interesting. I honestly can't wait to dig deeper on it."

"Are you sure you should become a doctor? Y'know, with your blood kink and all?" A bright blush spread to Mika's face.

"M-My what?!?"

"Relax, I'm just messing with you. You get flustered so easily." Lacus checked the time on his watch. "Let's go grab some lunch, René is probably waiting." Mika nodded, and the two of them headed to the cafeteria. The walk was short, but quiet. Quite honestly, Mika was just tired. He'd stayed up pretty late with his thoughts, and he didn't find Lacus and René to be the greatest company. He kind of just hung out with them because he didn't have any other friends. He wasn't sure to consider Yuu a friend yet. They hit it off great, and he definitely wants to get to know him more, but labels scared him a little. As he walked in the cafeteria, he froze.

"Mika? You good?", Lacus asked. He traced the direction the blonde looked at, his eyes meeting the same scene. They widened. "Shit, man. That's some bad luck."

Yuu was talking with the girl from his class, Akane. He wasn't too interested in her at first, but she seemed really nice, and he had no idea where Mika was. So he figured to hang with her for the time being. As Akane spoke, Yuu felt some eyes on him. He turned his head towards the door, seeing Mika standing in it. The guy from the day before was there, too. The ravenette waved, but he got no response. Akane had stopped talking, looking equally as terrified.

"What's going on?", he asked.

"I-I, uh, I...", she stuttered. Yuu's attention was turned back to Mika when he walked out the door.

"I'm gonna go see what's wrong.", he said as he stood up and followed after him. But when he was out the cafeteria, Mika was already gone. He cursed. He wandered around the hallway for a while, eventually passing by the boys bathroom. There were some noises inside. A little bit of chatter, but mostly the sounds of... Someone vomiting. Yuu gently pushed the door open, seeing the third year student from yesterday, along with someone with black hair. They were glancing at an open stall, seemingly unfazed as they were seated on the sinks. The one he met before, Lacus, noticed his presence.

"Oh, look who's here!", he chuckled. He gave a slight nod to the open stall. So that's were the noises of someone throwing up were coming from. Yuu stepped closer, glancing in the stall. There Mika was, coughing up his lungs above the toilet. The ravenette kneeled down next to him, resting his hand on the blonde's back. Mika coughed, breathing heavily.

"My food's getting cold.", the black haired boy spoke as he left the bathroom. He was followed by Lacus.

"Geez, assholes.", Yuu muttered. He tore some toilet paper from the roll, holding onto it until Mika finished. He gently rubbed the blonde's back, as the poor boy panted. He seemed to be done for now, so he handed him the toilet paper.

"T-Thanks...", Mika said as he wiped his mouth and flushed the paper. He leaned back against the wall of the bathroom stall. "Fuck, this is embarrassing..."

"How? Everyone gets sick from time to time, Mika. I'm sure you would have done the same for me.", Yuu said as he leaned against the opposite wall.

"Thanks, Yuu."

"No problem, really. So... What happened?" Mika sighed.

"The girl you were with, Akane?"

"Yeah?"

"That's my ex." Yuu mouthed an awkward 'o'. "We broke up a few months back, and it was a really nasty one. I can't look at her without feeling sick."

"Shit, dude. I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault, now is it? So don't apologise."

"Right. So, uh... How did you two break up?"

"She slept with someone else.", he said as he let out a sad chuckle. "I, uh... I walked in on them. So whenever I see her I see, well... that." Yuu shuffled over to Mika's side. The blonde rested his head on the other's shoulder.

"Life sucks. But you'll find someone that deserves you soon enough, Mika.", Yuu spoke. "Don't let a nasty breakup tear you down." Mika sighed.

"I don't think I want anyone right now."

"That's fair. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a girlfriend.", he chuckled.

"I think I mostly just need a friend."

"That's why I'm here, Mika."
